The casitas are right across the street from stairs down to the beach, and a couple blocks from Olas Altas. The positives included the location, access to the beach, and the property's walkability. The room was also very nice, with a cute patio area, where we upgraded to the hot tub room. We did have some frustrations with the property. The internet only worked for \~30% of our stay, and even when it was working, it dropped frequently. For someone who was trying to work, this was difficult. The hot tub was nice, but it wasn't really possible to get the temperature to the high 90s+, so it was more of a warm tub. The safe wasn't operational. Finally, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, like a rock. If you like sleeping on cement, this is the mattress for you. Aside from the all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva that’s six to $700 a night, this place ended up being around 100 a night & the room was bigger, it was quieter and more peaceful, and the staff were so helpful. We will definitely be back as this is the perfect location in the Beverly Hills of Puerto Vallarta and it’s like the name says a little villa with a private Jacuzzi outside. We felt like royalty for $100 a night. Lovely piece of gem that is in a quieter neighborhood but still a short walk to the nightlife of Zona Romantica/Centro. The stairs that lead right to a beach is conveniently located in front of the property. Very secure with locks/codes to get in to basically anywhere. The hot tub is a and something to look forward to in the morning & at after a long day. Unit we stayed in had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was hard to leave the bed/pillows every morning cuz it was so comfortable. Biggest shoutout to Salvador for his hospitality. The room was a really good size, and the balcony was nice too with the hot tub. I stayed in Casita Mar. Lots of space for all your things and the bathroom was great as well! I enjoyed the area - close to the beach and restaurants/shopping. It is quite hilly and a lot of stairs if you take the stairs to the beach so be prepared for that! But the area was nice and quiet. They also supplied beach towels which was great. The host Salvador was helpful and responsive. They even kept my suitcase for me on the day I was leaving as my flight was later in the evening. Would stay again and recommend to others! Just be prepared for the hills and stairs. This place is new, safe, quiet and well appointed with your own balcony and hot tub. I booked a last minute trip to PV and looked at all of the popular places all the gays stay and got to reading the often sketchy and unpleasant things others said. Needless to say did not book the other places and went to Expedia to review the places that weren't too expensive and had good reviews. I stumbled upon Villa Tita because the reviews were all "execptional". I saw the rate/night along with the amenities and didn't think it was legit yet decided to book. The place sits right across the street from Almar (popular gay hotel where the Mantamar Pool club sits in front of). That being said,...you'll have lots of entertainment to choose from and a short stair climb down to all of the beach action. Downtown PV is about a 15 mins walk and I would say is probably the reason the cost of this place is so reasonable. Villa Tita has a very attentive hotel concierge guy that can arrange for the room cleanings (if needed) and have your water, coffee or provided fancy soaps/shampoo/bodywash replenished. Villa Tita has keyboards for heightened security and ease of use for their guests. The design of the place makes you feel like you're in the latest White Lotus episode. I was fortunate to have a room (all with balcony and a hottub) that also had a view of the ocean.
