Super location for walking out in town to the Marina where there are many restaurants and shops to browse. Really great location! Even taking a cab to the Malcom is relatively cheap. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. Definitely a 5-Star trip. Can I do it 365 days????!!!!! I’m in love with PV!

Our family stayed here for two weeks. There was plenty of activities around the resort to stay busy. The room was clean everyday. There were a ton of wonderful employees. This is not a fancy resort and there are improvements that can be made but not worth deterring someone from staying here. We left the resort when we wanted a change in scenery or food. There’s plenty of restaurants in walking distance. A taxi to downtown was cheap. The evening entertainment was different than what I’ve seen before so I enjoyed it. Our only negatives were our mole and taco experiences (mostly breakfast) and lack of shady loungers when it got busy (reserved by a towel).

Great property if you have children they had a ton of daily activities. Restaurant food was great. Avoid the buffet at all cost. Hometown buffet had better quality of food. Rooms didn’t feel very clean. For the price you pay I feel it matched the quality.

My family and I had the best time, this is our first all inclusive where the food was actually good! We loved eating breakfast at mole every morning. Omar was so great there, very funny guy. Our kids loved him! The pool was fun, there was tons of activities. The beach was nice and warm. Kids club was awesome for the kiddos. Nothing but non stop fun. It was very clean and literally had the nicest staff ever, I mean literal ever! We had a great time. Definitely recommend for a family vacation:)

This resort is wonderful for families with lots of child friendly activities. The staff is both friendly and efficient. The resort and rooms are very clean. The SPA service was incredible. The food on the buffet was good. The food in the the Mole and Taco restaurant was good. We did not enjoy the food in the Fish House. The Fish House served our daughter nuts even with the reservation and the staff knowing she had a tree nut allergy, fortunately they were visible and she did not eat them. We asked for a King room but got 2 doubles, they did offer to move us 1/2 through our stay. The bathroom in our room needed renovating with an old stained tub and a broken hand shower.

We spent a week in the all inclusive Melia. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff are incredibly friendly, the fish house was top notch and the buffet cant be beat. We enjoyed how we were tucked away from.the business of the city, yet close to the Marina and a quick cab ride to the Malecon and touristy stuff. Highly recommend the Melia!

food was hardly bearable at best, not one thing ever served came out hot?? especially the buffet, but even when fresh made to order (cold pancakes?) drinks were not made with real mixes all drinks no matter what mix you asked for had a fake sugar taste, no real orange juice just tang, which was weird as it was avail in the upgrade restaurant for breakfast, no real cranberry juice, no grapefruit juice, no fresh fruit in any of the drinks just limes, and pool bar looks like its ready to fall apart, huge holes in the concrete pillars and roof looks like its ready to fall down plus dirty. we wanted to leave after just one day but decided to stick it out and just drive into town everyday for our meals. Not the best scenario when you are paying for all inclusive but dining options were either the terrible buffet, a fish house or taco place. this property def needs upgrades throughout very dated. staff were very pleasant and the location and the view from our beachfront room was excellent but due to plumbing issues, food issues, etc., will never go back and would never recommend.

Our check in experience was great from the start, Stephanie had checked us in and helped us get reservations and whatever else we needed for our short stay. Food was an 8/10 The buffet was good, the restaurant was a little bit better. Mole & Tacos was better than the Fish house is our experience. Wish they had more restaurants and more food options for the late night snacks. Overall a great experience for just a 2 night stay, being close by the beach was a plus and the pool was great!

I liked the size of the resort (not too big) and the extremely friendly staff. The food was 😊 good. In addition, the atmosphere was fun and family friendly. There were lots of free activities such as yoga, water aerobics, pool tables, ping pong tables, etc.

It is a great place. If you have children a little kids there was lots of them and they all were enjoying themselves. I have never had better service than Antonio, which is the manager there he heard I had a couple small complaints no big deal to me, but he found me offered to upgrade me. I had trouble got a wheelchair to my room to get my stuff and take it to the room.

This was a lovely all inclusive and defo family oriented. Loved the eateries and buffet was good. Only had trouble with our room. One day there was no hot water and the our first day a little murky water, needed to run the tap for a bit. Otherwise great visit, staff is wonderful. Would defo go back to stay here.

The pool is nice but our room smelt very musty and moldy . The door key system defenetly needs fixing as our cards we’re constantly deactivated as meny as 3-4 times daily , very frustrating . We booked 2 doubles beds our room was 1 king bed but the staff quickily rectified this . The food is nothing to brag about amd only 1 buffet and 2 restaurants forced us to eat elsewhere often. The biggest problem with the resort is they allowing people to reserve a poolside lounger by leaving a towel witch is great if they had some sort of time limit as we found everyday all loungers to have towels very early everyday with no one using them . You shouldn’t be allowed to go and put your towels on the lounger at 8 AM going to town and return at four to use it. This was a definite piss off every day..I have nothing negative to say about the staff .

Rooms were alright, no outlets with a ground pin, only two outlets in the entire room. Food at the buffet was excellent, although the al la carte at the fish house was very poor. I had the fillet and my fiance had shrimp tacos. She got very sick after eating. Resort is clean, large pool area, the staff is very pleasent. Wifi internet throughout the resort is very fast. The beach in front of the resort is very small, not comparable to the size and quality of the beaches in nuevo vallarta or bucerias. Overall i would recomend for a cheap getaway and a good place to base yourself from if you want to explore PV or Bucerias. I wouldnt race to this place the the al la carte dinners, or bother spending the extra to get the silver wristband.

We travelled as a bigger group of friends and we had a great time - from the check-in till the very end it was a very good experience. Staff is excellent and friendly . Although the hotel is bit older it is well mainteined. Our room was clean, with fridge and drinks, fresh water bottles suppllied every day. Beach and pool area within 2 minutes walking distance from the room. Bars were close by, Nabor from the pool bar is a drink magician! Drinks service was also on the beach. Hotel has three restaurants, the buffet restaurant's food was good, lots of options, excellent staff : Juan, Theresa and others took good care of us. Entertainment was above our expectations, very talented group, shows were great! Also there were plenty activiities to choose from: girls enjoyed morning yoga, or you can go on kayaks, play tennis, bingo, join lessons, etc. Overall we had fantastic time. The only one thing our group found missing was more live music/or DJ present after 10pm. The live music (2 nights) were great but not enough, and they should start later - after the entertainment show is over. Just a suggestion.
