Location was excellent in the heart of old town PV and a short walk from the malecon and beach. The staff were excellent throughout the hotel and the Coexist Bistro! Front desk seemed disorganized and unconcerned about customers needs!

The overall ambiance is quite nice. It's an older hotel and with the courtyard pool all lit up at night it glows nicely. We found all the staff very helpful and the room was kept pretty clean. We got a kitchenette and found we needed to do a bit of cleaning of the dishes and a few corners before settling in. The Malecon is less than 100 feet from the hotel entrance and makes for very convinent walking tourism. We found plenty of good restaurants near by the hotel restaurant doesn't have any vegan options other than chips and guacamole so we didn't use the restaurant much but there margaritas were fantastic. I also being vegetarian made use of breakfast at the restaurant since they made a killer omelette. All and all for the price point and being downtown it's a great choice it is most certainly as advertised and if we are in Puerto Vallarta I wouldn't hesitate on booking again.
