Instalaciones de primera

Posted 3-Jul-2016
El hotel tiene unas instalaciones excelentes. Habitaciones amplias y el servicio en general es muy bueno Lo que no me gustó es la poca variedad en los menus, el tamaño de las prociones q sirven ya que por el precio que cobran, esperarías mucho más

Beautiful hotel!

Loved snorkelling right off the Beach, sitting on our balcony watching birds, eating delicious food everyday served by happy & courteous staff.... that Japanese restaurant is out of this world! We did not use the gym or spa facilities, but took a peek.... Gorgeous! I got my exercise walking and climbing stairs through beautifully landscaped pathways :)

Needs to step it up for 5 star

I went here for my birthday and For the most part i enjoyed my time. Do beware, as soon as you get your luggage at the airport they will try to convince you to take this tour for them to sell you a time share. It's not worth it. Check in was pretty quick, however once again the concierge did try to convince me to go on this timeshare tour with incentives, which I declined once again after explaining i was given the same opportunity in the airport prior to her trying to convince me. Food and drinks are really good here. All top shelf liquor. Goose, makers, etc. one thing you need to know is that even though they have the all inclusive option grey goose orange flavor and absolute vanilla are not included. ( which does not makes sense) i was only told this once i've had a few grey goose orange drinks. The sushi place was okay, the steakhouse was pretty good. Room service does shut down at 11pm so make sure you have eaten before then. ( drunk munchies anyone?) The staff here was really friendly and accommodating. Even though this resort does not have swim up bars, the staff will go out of their way to serve you drinks while your swimming in the pool. There is a little bit of a language barrier here. I've asked the staff a few simple questions in english in which they did not understand fully but they were always very polite. The room is beautiful. We stayed in the junior panoramic suite in tower 5. It was really spacious. We had a great view of the ocean and the mountains.

Once we arrived at hotel, need change for taxi. Ask front desk girl name Anel for peso exchange, she right away lied and said she didn't have any. She ran out of change for the day, but ended up taking money from her desk to do the exchange for a lot less. She then checked us in and tell us we have welcome concierge name Jessica that was going to show us to our room. Jessica tried to set up a timeshare that took almost 2 hours before she will let us go to our room. Jessica kept calling our room at 8am to set up tour of property, swear was not a timeshare and will only be 1 hour to an hour and half at the most promising massage discount and taxi ride to anywhere in Puerto Vallarta. Tour actually took almost 4 hours and never received the taxi ride promised. Food expensive and not good at all. Horrible experience all the way

Beautiful hotel with a great staff

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Pros: The views and staff.
Location: Go a few miles south for a sunset dinner at Le Kliff.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Garza Blanca for a five day getaway and it well exceeded our expectations. Insanely clean, good food, nice people and beautiful views.

Top notch Hotel right on the beach

Posted 20-Apr-2016
Location: Located right on the beach with close proximity to town via taxi or the local bus Also close to Los Arcos which had som phenomenal diving
This Hotel is very nice and is located right on the beach It is a little removed from the main part of town which for me wasn't a problem It is very quiet and quite romantic All of the staff are very friendly and helpful for tips and advise on what to do while you are there and what to see The food was very good and the settings for each of the restaurants is unique to it's location The rooms exceeded my expectations and the views were amazing The only down side if there is one is the hike up to the rooms There are a lot of stairs and it is steep but it helps you to work off some of that food The Gym and the Spa totally blow you away They are located on the tenth and eleventh floors with incredible views The service at the spa is very relaxing and professional I would go back and visit again without any hesitation

More Staff than Guests

Posted 18-Apr-2016
Pros: The rooms was large with great views.
Cons: One of our party got food poisoning from their upscale Japanese Restaurant; therefore better food hygiene technique when dealing with raw fish.
Location: 8 peso quick, local bus into Old Puerto Vallarta offered local street wandering and good restaurants.
Lovely location with plenty of swimming and relaxing options.
