Nice resort

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: Beautiful resort Very well maintained grounds Extremely clean Cons: Time share presentation (sales) Unable to enjoy beach because your approached constantly by vendors selling things (jewelery, cigars, massages) Accessibility (very far from town)

Not a 5 star resort!

Posted 19-Sep-2016
We upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite and our room was feet away from pool with everyone able to stare into our room! No privacy at all. When I wanted to switch back to my original room which was also a suite, they said they couldnt accomodate me. I had to locate the manager myself for them to switch my room. Nobody was of any help. The food was not good at all. There were constantly flies on the breakfast buffet. We dined at the finer options they had and were extremely dissappointed by the food again and especially at such a high price. Our room had not been cleaned properly when we checked in. Spilled wine by the bath tub and there were hairballs and sand inside the bed. Our room was infested with mosquitos. I honestly couldnt wait to get home. The pool was the only nice part of the hotel. Also, the hotel constantly changes the exchange rate based on whether your exchanging money or buying something. Someone tells you one thing at the front desk, then you go to their hotel store and they tell you something different. For the price I paid for this trip I'd rather go to Hawaii.

Amazing hotel.

Posted 15-Sep-2016
Pros: This place was great!!!
Cons: There is only one thing I could say needs improvement and that would be trying to do the timeshare pitch later, and not right after you check in.
Location: Location was nice. We went to the zoo, and took the buss downtown.
Very nice and clean hotel. Beautiful location, great good, and many things to do. You can find cheaper places to stay, but this place is worth your time and money.

Overpriced! Lumpy beds

Posted 11-Sep-2016
Check in was awful I wasn't allowed to put a cash deposit down for restaurants, therefore had to leave the hotel to eat the first two days. I was checked in with an employee that wasn't helpful, For the Amt of money I paid nightly I'd go somewhere else.. The beach was small and rocky My keys didn't work on two occasions , inconvenient!!! To walk back to the front desk The BED WAS AFFUL!!! Lumpy and the sheets were never straight Awful pillows too!! Terrible nights rest The best part of the entire stay was the gym at Miusai

Top notch hotel - better value than St. Regis

Posted 26-Aug-2016
Cons: There were lots of mosquitos around. That comes with the season, but I wonder if more technology to keep them away could be implemented.
This is our second stay in two months at Garza Blanca. With options to travel pretty much anywhere in the world and with points at best hotels, we decided to come back to Garza Blanca. It was all about the personal attention, the little details, the quality, variety and creativity of the food, and the supporting great weather, perfect beach to lap swim or hang out and more. Founder of Puerto Vallarta and owner lives in the premises and makes sure everything runs smoothly. We loved it!

Hotel, is amazing. Definitely 5 diamond hotel.

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Hotel is definitely 5 Diamond Hotel, I've been coming to PV for over 20 years and this is what Puerto Vallarta needed and deserved. I stayed at the 2 bedroom suite ocean view. Absolute amazement. Also the spa and gym is world class

Beautiful hotel and well maintained property!

Posted 20-Aug-2016
Pros: The cleanliness and kindness
Cons: Stop with the time share presentations
Location: The location is in the middle of the bay, there is a nearby Tequila tasting in Mismaloya that was interesting!
We booked 3 weeks before our wedding and we were so pleasantly surprised at our experience!! We couldn't have had a better stay! Will use expedia again and would love to go back to Garza Blanca!
