The food was underwhelming. We ended up going over to the family buffet for breakfast. There was no hot water for showers and no water pressure. The fixtures in the bathroom were loose. the music at the pool was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. went to the Mexican restaurant hoping for traditional Mexican food. Very loud people downstairs late at night. Staff were very nice.

The food and drinks are very poor DO NOT expect to be satisfied with the food we may all have a different pellet but not good at all. My room was given to me two hours late with no apologies or any type of compensation. This reminded me that u get what u pay for!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was very good. We ate at the buffet most nights because getting reservations at the other restaurants was very difficult, which was kind of frustrating. Our room looked over the top of the buffet area, which is ugly, but we did have a partial ocean view like stated in our booking. The washroom looked nothing like the pictures online, it was in desperate need of a remodel, which was disappointing, but the staff cleaned it very well. Overall, with price in mind, the people and food made our stay great and we would stay again.

The staff was excellent.The rooms were clean and the drinks were good. The food was not very good, the buffet items were often cold and the beach area was not kept up. The beach chairs and beds were very dirty. The paint on the hotel is pealing in several areas. The bathroom faucets were loose. The resort is definitely showing its age

Staff were great. They were very helpful and very kind. The beach bar was an awesome area to spend the day or evening hanging out. The buffet had a wide variety of different foods each day. One downfall was the vendors being allowed past the rope fence on the beach. It got to be very annoying to be interrupted every few minutes. Otherwise we had a great time.

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. Food was great and common areas we good and clean. The staff were great and very accommodating. The rooms were not great and we had to change rooms due to a water issue. The second room we were in had issues as well. Other members of our group had issues with their room as well. On the surface they looked good but the rooms are definitely due for an upgrade.

I really enjoyed this adults only property the food was excellent and the service was excellent and I'd like to thank eberto who was at the concierge who was so helpful he was my savior and Oscar at the front the only the hotel is outdated it could use some refurbishment but other than that I would definitely recommend and I will be going back next year and the rooftop pool is amazing

This resort was really nice ! Staff were always great and they had lots of staff for service and we never waited long. They always served with a smile. The food for resort food was actually amazing. The buffet had lots of flavourful food and wasn’t bland and the restaurants included were all delicious. Our only bad meal was when we decided to pay extra for one of the specials at one of the restaurants. So don’t bother with the specials, especially since the food in the menus is more than good enough. The resort itself is very beautiful and nice beach access.the beach is very easy to swim at and the sand doesn’t have much rocks so you can walk barefoot. The location is great for distance to airport. It’s not walkable to old town but it’s a quick drive/bus ride. Another perk is this hotel doesn’t have staff trying to sell you time share stuff. Rooms were basic and nothing fancy but stuff mostly worked. Our ac worked ok, just didn’t let it below 20. My only complaints I can think of is there’s not enough cabanas/cover at the pool side. Theres definitely enough chairs between the pool and by ocean but not a lot of them are covered. It’s nice because if you sit by the pool the beach vendors don’t come onto the resort but if you seat on the beach they will be around every 5 minutes. And the other complaint is our room cards would become demagnetized every day and we always had to get them reset. Overall it was a great spot for a resort vacation and good value for money spent.

You get what you pay for. The hotel was average at best. Some really nice staff and some not so nice ones. I lost my towel key and they tried to change me $400 Pesos per key. That’s about $20US even though when we checked in the told us it was $100 pesos. Overall not bad but for a couple extra hundred you can find a nicer resort

Many things to say 1. The hotel reception is very small, only two people for check-in and also for check-out, it took a while for them to give us the rooms. 2. The facilities are very old, they do not provide much maintenance and the cleaning is not the best but the worst of all was the smell of the drainage in the room, it was so strong that it did not let us sleep, the smell came from the shower, the toilet and the jacuzzi and was perceived throughout the room. 3. very little variety in the food at the buffet and the food was very bad, in the other restaurant the food was a little better but you had to make a reservation a long time in advance. 4. The night show is really bad, not at all entertaining and the hotel night club is a real failure and the drinks are very bad. 5. The only good thing I have to say about it is the attention of the employees, who are all very friendly and helpful.

Accommodating and fun staff, great activities - volleyball, kayaking, tennis, nightly shows, games around the pool/foam party. Roof top pool was beautiful with swim up bar and day beds. Fun late night “pub” with two nice pool tables. Safe area with cheap transport options for the Malecon, marina and airport - although we walked to both the marina and Malecon which was more than doable. Affordable souvenir shops on the same block if you don’t want to buy off the beach too. Lastly, so super accommodating with check out and check in. Overall an awesome awesome place to stay and would go back, food and drink were just not all that but lots of options.

The property is fairly run down, with things falling apart. We still enjoyed our time but if you are looking for a fancy resort probably choose somewhere else. The buffet was nothing special but the restaurants were pretty good. We heard from multiple people they had stayed here many times and this time was there last. This was the worst resort I’ve been to. Only one elevator worked and was constantly used by staff. We asked for 2 beds and got a one. Was told the next day we could change to a two. Never happened. Asked for a coffee maker twice never got it. The food was horrible. Scheduling was a pain and you couldn’t get in but the restaurants were never even full. The first day we were there we missed the cut off so couldn’t even go to the restaurants. Had to do the buffett. It was garbage. The fruit was edible but that was about it. Next time I will pay a bit more and stay somewhere else!

The entertainment at night was one of the best things about this place! Our maid Anna was excellent-very thorough and accommodating! This is the 2nd time we have been at this resort. Let me first say that the statff is excellent and very nice. The property is very outdated and needs to be cleaned up a bit. The food at the buffet really needs help as it lacks in options and looks and taste. The 3 restaurants are OK. We were on the adults only section and it mainly caters to 50 adults so if you want something younger with more party options this is not for you. It says it has a club but it really is not, it has a few shows at night and then they play some music but no dancing. Overall it was OK for the price I paid.

Hotel was nice and large with plenty of rooms. The location was great and close to the port where there is shopping. Getting a ride by taxi was super easy to go downtown to the romantic zone or to the hotel zone. Staff was extremely nice and patient. Went with a bunch of friends who drink alot, one night the staff had to wheelchair my friend back into his room because he was wasted. Food was limited to the buffett and pool bar and dinner reservations were needed for specialty restaurants. Drinks were easy to get but they stopped service around 12:30am. Condition of the rooms was 7/10, paint needed touch up, ac worked great, no smells, bed was comfortable, tv has all spanish channels, balcony was nice to relax and watch the sunset. Staff always treated us well and catered to our needs with a smile. Buffett got tiresome after 7 days. Had to go out to try some mexican restaurants to try the real mexican food.

Carlos helped our group with reservations and transportation. Ocean front room was great but 5/6 in our group had to change rooms at some point. They did not give me the Ocean front room the first night as they stated that the rooms were all full. Another couple in our group checked in after us and got an ocean front room that they did not book. Staff work very hard all day and are friendly. Hotel itself is showing signs of wear and could use some sprucing up. Buffets were great especially for breakfast and lunch. Specialty restaurants were good.but maybe a little under staffed. We saw whales from the beach which was awesome. Close to the marina for excursions and a short taxi ride to the Malecon.
