Disappointing Stay: A Review of Costa Club Punta Arena in Puerto Vallarta
I had a very disappointing stay at Costa Club Punta Arena in Puerto Vallarta. Despite booking a room with a king-size bed, we were initially given a room with a double bed due to unavailability. The air conditioning in the room was also not working, which prompted us to request a new room. Although we were relocated, the hot water in the shower was not functioning. Despite multiple complaints to the reception, the issue was not resolved promptly.
The resort's dining experience was also subpar. While the meals were acceptable, the dining area was constantly plagued by pigeons and other birds, leading to feathers, dust, and bird droppings being blown around. This unsanitary condition resulted in both my partner and me suffering from diarrhea, which we attribute to the contamination from the birds.
Furthermore, the customer service at the resort was lacking. We felt unwelcome and were made to feel as though the issues we experienced were our fault. Overall, I cannot recommend Costa Club Punta Arena to anyone based on my experience.
