Top quality penthouse amenities and furnishings, walking distance to town, beaches, incredible views of the old town and ocean, sun drenched private pool deck, even in Winter. While the quality of amenities and furnishings are important, and they are certainly top notch at Casa Ventana, by far the most critical factor when choosing a rental, is LOCATION. This is one of the main reasons why Casa Ventana has been such a success year after year, and in spite of significant competition. It is because we are walking distance to town, beaches, have incredible views, and full sun on our private pool deck, even in Winter. On the first floor of Casa Ventana, bi-fold glass doors fold away onto the deck that wraps around the living and dining room area, and boasts a fully equipped gourmet stainless steel and granite kitchen, two master bedrooms each with private baths, guest bathroom, laundry room and more. On the top floor of Casa Ventana you will find a spacious conterra stone tiled sunning deck with lush tropical gardens, and your very own private infinity plunge pool. This level also has a bar, studio size master bedroom with cathedral ceilings and entertainment center, marble bathroom, and a covered living room with built in furniture that opens onto the deck and ocean views. During your stay you will be pampered by Lette, our house manager and professionally trained beauty and massage therapist, who will make sure you are always comfortable. On arrival, Lette will prepare complimentary welcome margaritas to accompany homemade tortillas, salsa, and guacamole. Feel free to make arrangements with Lette to shop for groceries, prepare exquisite and authentic gourmet Mexican meals, as well as for a massage or facial treatment. (Please note: meal preparation and spa treatments are an additional charge paid directly to Lette). And if it is just a lazy day you are after, stay home and watch cable TV channels, maybe read one of our hundreds of books, or just sit back and enjoy a view that will take your breath away. Casa Ventana’s reputation precedes it. The vast majority of our guests are returning guests or referrals from former guests and we believe this says a lot about not only the quality of the accommodation and services we offer, but also overall value for money. While Puerto Vallarta is seemingly awash in condominium rentals and deals, I have been renting our home in Vallarta since 1998, with the same staff that I have had from day one, namely Lette. We have also just completed our third full renovation in 13 years, bringing everything up to new quality, again, with all new bathrooms, kitchen, hand cut stone floor tiles, electrical fittings, appliances, and furniture. The vast majority of our guests are returning guests, which underscores the overall value for money not to mention quality. Guests will have access to the large shared swimming pool as well as their own private rooftop swimming pool. It is a short walk to the beach and to the old town. Our house manager Lette will liaise with the guests and arrange maid service. Casa Ventana is centrally located, perched on a cliff high above Central Puerto Vallarta's Souths Side (Romantic Zone), overlooking Los Muertos Beach and the Pacific Ocean. From Casa Ventana you can walk to all Vallarta's top tourist attractions in town, and from our central location, all other attractions are easy to reach. You can see the entire bay from both levels of the house. The retractable glass walls make you feel like you're right there in the ocean. Our flight was delayed several hours, but Lette still met us at check-in and provided us with a delicious dinner at a very reasonable price for 4 people. The space easily accommodated the four of us and could comfortably accommodate many more. The rooftop pool was a favorite spot of the trip for getting some sun and watching the sun set. If you don't mind the steep hills it is walkable, we opted to Uber most of the trip because the fares were so cheap. Ron, the host wasincredibly attentive and helped answer any questions we had, and helped alleviate some of the anxiety we had about traveling outside the US. La Zona Romantica was an amazing place to spend time in, with great restaurants and shopping incredibly close by. The whole experience from start to the end was amazing and effortless. Ron and Moises did their best to accommodate and check in with us to make sure we had anything that we needed on hand. We visit PV yearly for the fiestas patrias and this was a gem of a location since it had its own pool at the top to enjoy the view. We look forward to being able to visit in the future as this house is so beautiful and relaxing and having the options to be taken care whether it be massages or help with groceries and of course dinner wise if we choose to in the future as well. We had Letty make us dinner one night that consisted of guacamole and chips, tortilla soup, mango and jicama salad, chicken with mole, rice, and refried beans. Everything was delicious and there were enough leftovers to serve everyone lunch the next day. The location offered easy access to the activity of the Zona Romántica and Playa Los Muertos. The hill-side location may prove challenging for those with mobility limitations, but cabs and Uber are readily available and inexpensive. The noise from the highway below could be intrusive, as others have mentioned, but the bedrooms were quiet if using the air conditioning. Letty and her team provided efficient service. Guests should take advantage of Letty's wonderful cooking. We hope to return soon. ##### Patrick W. After checking out the indoor/outdoor open living space, 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, you forget that there is also a rooftop negative edge pool, bar/lounge area, and ANOTHER bedroom and bathroom. Upon our arrival the manager Lette and her assistant met us with fresh margaritas, chips and guacamole before showing us around. It's hard not to take a deep breath and feel relaxed right away. Housekeeping staff did a great job during the stay, and were flexible by asking when we preferred them to arrive each day. It is possible to walk to Zona Romantica, but I wouldn't recommend it if 1) it's raining -- the Amapas streets are narrow, steep and mostly without sidewalks. Would be slippery when wet; 2) if you have any physical difficulties with steep inclines. We did the walk a few times, but much preferred calling an Uber or taxi. If you use a rideshare app make sure you drop a pin on the map and confirm that the correct street address is selected for your pickup. There were a few minor maintenance issues, mostly burned out light bulbs, but nothing that detracted from our amazing stay. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Michael B.
