Horrible experience. There was no hot water or Ac, the phone in the room was not working. Food and services was the worst. I would never recommend this place.

They are in the middle of a building project and have let the rest of the facilities in poor condition. We did not get the room we booked. After changing room 3 times, we gave up.

Poor quality for the price !!!!
I went for a wedding and over all the people some of them very nice but the rules around make people uncomfortable! The room that I reserve according to the pictures of the website not even close, ugly and very old I have to complain to get something better. The room was dirty during my stay no broom or mop were inside my room !!!!!! The food the last day were horrendous!!! The bedding sheets and in general old and not clean. The wedding for me as a Guest's opinión need improvement from the wedding planner of the hotel because the bride and groom trust that person and her abilities and experience since they were far away to control all the aspects of the wedding! Very bad attention for the wedding guests before the reception. They mark people like who were allow to drink something before the party start.

Take a pass on this place!
Facility about to exchange ownership again in a short period of time. Disorganized, hygenically challenged, staff struggling. Don't waste your hard earned money here...too many other great options right next door.

The room was very small. Uncomfortable bed. Room needs a do over, looks pretty sad, and so dark. Wanted a better room or we would check out, they offered one at three times the price...........no thanks. Also t.v. had one Spanish station and no English channels. Asked for a bottle opener, & told there would be one in the room, but, no, there wasn't. At least a quarter mile walk to bar and back to the room with an opener, which had to be returned.

If you want to spend a night or two I might book this hotel but as a vacation not a good resort they doing some construction work the stuff not really friendly specially the tour guy.very small room.

It was good stay once they gave us a good room because of problems with the air conditioner. Food is okay gets boring quick would recommend eating out more. Good restaurants around and Puerto Vallarta only a cheap cab ride away. Resort was quite and easy to get to the pool and beach. Service was excellent for the most part. I would recommend getting ocean view it's the only way to go.

Great pool
Great pool and staff. My only complaint would be our room was tiny with no balcony. We had a room that faced the Riu and was directly across from its air conditioning unit very noisy to say the least. We had a ground floor room with parking spots facing our window car headlights would shine in got pretty annoying. people loading up their vehicles milling about right outside our window very annoying. The we room we stayed in shouldn't be a room for guests it should be a utility room due to its poor location if you get room #3103 start complaining immediately. Don't get me wrong the resort is great. My wife and I don't spend much time in our room so I didn't say anything I also am not one to waste my time standing in line to see if we can get another room so I deal but after a week it got a little old. Our room wasvery clean and cozy when it was quiet. The beach is great here. lots of good restaurants fairly close to the the resort in Bucerias. This was my wife's and my 8th time to PV and we had a great time as always just wish our room had a better location. Thank you to Jose, Ricardo and all of the staff for making our stay fun, relaxing and all around great.

Building a new building.
The construction makes for a bit of noise. The pool area is very nice. The breakfast buffet is a nice start to the day. Dinner was a disappointment. Worst wines we have ever been served. A wine list and a new bottle are recommended.

All you need. An affordable vacation on the beach
We were happy with the size of fridge, presence of a microwave, coffee maker, blender and hot plate. These things gave us so much more choice in our vacation, for example, whether or not we wanted to go out for breakfast or have a smoothie, or make a Pina Colada. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is good and affordable. The ponds around the building are full of beautiful fish and turtles and fountains. The pool is clean and a comfortable temperature--swim up bar. The only complaint I would have is that people throw towels on the chairs around the pool to "reserve" them. There are many, many chairs, very few occupied but none available. I wish they would post signs telling people not to leave towels unattended or they will be taken and, held at the towel booth, thus opening up chairs.

Relaxing resort
Property nice -- but room unexceptiable! Floors were dirty to the extent your feet were black. Standard room very small--no couch or lounge chair. We didn't have daily maid service even though should have had clean towels and linens. Came one night at 7:30 pm to clean room! Too late. Common areas well kept and clean. Pool area very nice and staff at restaurant very friendly. Bellmen also very friendly and efficient They were exceptional

Very lovely hotel located right on the beach
I am kind of mixed about my experience. The hotel was very nice and the room was good. However when we booked I thought we upgraded to a room that would have some kind of an ocean view according to their website, they placed us in a room over looking a construction yard with lots of constriction noise included. I would have been better to give us a heads up. I would suggest if you want to book this hotel, make sure you know what you are getting.

Bottle of perfume stolen from my suitcase!!
This was the WORST experience ever!!! Hotel has MASSIVE construction. The room was a vacation nightmare. Way too small, dark, moldy smell, broken shutters with a view to another hotels air conditioner unit. We had to upgrade and the front desk services were not nice. No hello when we got there. Unwelcome feeling. I had my brand new bottle of perfume stolen out of my suitcase. The manager could care less. The pool was SO LOUD! Horrible music and overcrowded. We left to another beach because there was no place for us to sit and relax. Sitting by the beach on those filthy disgusting chairs was an absolute NO! I promise you, you can find much better. The kitchen table in the room was crawling with ants. Saw a cockroach crawling behind the TV in our bedroom. Clogged bathroom sink. No towels when we got to the room. The air vents were full of thick dust like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The ceiling fans were very noisy. They said partial view of the ocean and we had no view whatsoever. Please do yourselves a favor and find a different hotel.

The lay out of the grounds was perfect, but due to building new additions at 5 in the morning, making repairs on everything, trying to clean your room at the crack of dawn, ants in our bed when we arrived, and playing really loud music by the pool was over all stressful and not how a resort should feel. Even with an upgraded room and incredible staff...Never again.

Horribly Rude Hotel Staff, Loud Construction
Our room was located in the construction part of the hotel. We asked for a new room and was told there were none. We finally got a new room but they charged us $400 extra and we still ended up sleeping 3 of us in a king size bed. Don't bother staying here, you're better off staying at Paradise Village.

Close to the beach, 40 min from Bucerias
The room was small, backed onto a large hotel next to us. The A/C units from the other hotel where right across from our room and were nosy. The back access to the other hotel was right next to us and had garbage trucks and other vehicles constantly backing down with their back up alarms. The room was overpriced for the size, location and noise level.

Enjoyable
The staff was friendly and very helpful especially since a lot of things were not explained. One example of that was the meal options. You could have either chosen between the buffet or menu but we were unaware of this since no one mentioned those options until later.

Small in size but Big in service and accomodations
I very much enjoyed staying at Belair Vallarta. Small charming hotel with all of the commodities one seeks on vacation. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great, we enjoyed three wonderful meals while there. The variety of meals is not exceptional but what is served is good and correct portions. The pool was beautiful and the location of the hotel on beach was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we only wish we had stayed longer.

the pool area was great...beach good also but the sand is coarse and hard to walk on ...hard on feet. We had a 2 bedroom unit next to the adjoining hotel and the music at night prevented us from using our deck or leaving our air conditioning off.but other than that it is a small and nice resort...

Small noisy room
We were meeting family for travel to Guadalajara, then back to Manzanillo. Staff service was very good. The room was small. The room faced the generators from the Riu Hotel next door, so there was a constant hum al night. Other reviewers complained about the room size and were moved. Since we were only spending one night, I didn't bother. However, I will not stay here again.

It's okay but.....
The staff are great but the rooms are small and dark. One can't open the semi fixed blinds for natural light because there's a walkway right outside the room. Our room faced a bank(31) of air conditioning compressors from the adjacent hotel, and needless to say the noise was constant. The place desperately need refurbishment and if the Belair group aren't going to do it then they should sell the place to someone who will. Until they do I'd recommend that you consider staying elsewhere.

Nice Hotel, Excellent Staff
The room was small, but adequate since we didn't spend much time in the room. We thought the bed was very comfortable. The bath/shower was a little difficult to climb into and out of. The room was kept clean by the staff. The staff was very nice to us...not sure if it was because we tipped generously or if it was because my wife is Mexican and would often have discussions with the staff (probably both). The pool bar is good, but they will balk at preparing mixed drinks when they are very busy. The restaurants were clean and the food was pretty good. The staff treated us very well regardless of where we were in the resort. The vegetation around the facility makes the resort a very nice place to be. Volleyball and pool aerobics every day. Went to the gym one day, didn't go back...not much there. Overall, this was a nice place to be. We enjoyed our vacation at this resort and would go back again.

The facilities need basic maintenance and the cleanliness of the rooms was not acceptable. The staff and grounds were nice, and the location has a nice beach.

Original room was small and did not match Hotels.com description but after free upgrade, I was very pleased. Hotel was further away from town and amenities like Starbucks than I had anticipated.

Right on the beach
The location of the hotel is great! Right on the beach you can easily go from the ocean into the pool with just a few steps. Beautiful pool area and resort. The only thing was that you can tell that the don't do well with maintenance. Like if something was broken it was never fixed ex. Jacuzzis. Also for the price we expected at least a clean room. The room lacked cleanness. The coffee cups where dirty not washed.. Also the curtains of the room where white and they had either a chocolate or a blood stain on them. It was pretty gross. Other than that we had a good time. Also there is no store walking distance from the hotel. It's pretty secluded from all touristic areas.

Do not stay here!
Our first clue should of been when there were no towels in the room. The hotel needs serious remodeling and updates. Do not eat at Dolce Mexico! We made the wrong choice of choosing the buffet. Good thing we started with the salad because that gave us a clue as to what the food was like. The lettuce was wilted and brown and the bread basket was full of flies. We brought this to the attention of our waiter (Rodolfo),who at first seemed concerned. He then informed the captain (Luis), who looked veey concerned as well. He said he would take our order personally. Did they remove the salad? Of course not. Considering it was the only restaurant open and you can not eat at another hotel. We were stuck. We ordered off the menu. We ordered two pizzas..that took an hour to make. First we were told by our waiter (who by now was very rude) and the caprain Luis ( who avoided us because he knew we were upset) that the chef made the pizzas the wrong size and would be done in 5 minutes. After over an hour the pizzas were brought to our table. Fearing they did something to our pizzas because at this time they were singling us out to other waiters, we asked fir the bill and take out boxes. Also, floor was slippery that a pregnant woman slipped.
