The sliding door locked behind us. We were locked out on our balcony for 4 hours. We called endlessly to the apartments, and they never answered, then we called Expedia a few times and no one would help us. We called down to people on the street and found one person staying in the apartments but she couldn’t find a single person to help us because there’s no lobby desk or security or anything. We had to break our way in. The next morning the lady said she saw we had called a bunch but she was having a bad night so didn’t answer. Then they wanted to charge us for the break in, even though we couldn’t get help and we’re stuck from 11pm-3am outside. Their toilets don’t flush, you have to slush 3-5 times to get it to go down. The beds are very hard and firm, woke up with stiff necks and backs. The refrigerator isn’t very cold and the AC barely worked. Would we stay here again? Absolutely not!

Perfectly located in heart of everything. Across the street from the beach and walk to all restaurants, bars and activities. It's in an active area so don't expect peace and quiet, but great location for beach fun.

The property is very nice and clean. The air conditioner is ice cold! Best of all the property is located right at the beach and close to everything. There's also a 24 hr convenience store right down stairs. The airport is close by and is only an 11$ Uber ride. Don't take a taxi.

MY FAVORITE HOTEL IN PUERTO VALLARTA
I come to PV about 7-8 times per year. I Love Amapas Apartments! I have stayed here over 20 times. The location, views, staff, price and apartments are amazing!! I have never had a bad experience!! I have stayed at other hotels in PV but Amapas Apartments is my favorite! Jessica and Laszlo who run the hotel are fantastic and I can not wait to my next stay soon!
