We had the best time me and my sister from NYC turning up this old people resort! All the staff members were sooo nice, from concierge, the massage ladies who gave us both massages by the beach, and the nightly show they would put on was sooo good you would’ve thought u was on Broadway, these kids are so talented please give them a raise !! The food could’ve been more Dominican style but other than that we had a blast! Definitely will be returning to Viva Heavens 💃💃🇩🇴♥️

The resort is small compared to the ones we have stayed in Punta Cana, but it doesn't lack on anything. When we arrived, I was a bit hesitant, but that changed quickly, the staff and service were the best I'd experienced in a while. The pool area was big enough for entertainment and small to allow me to keep an eye on my 6 yo boy. By the way, he made a lot of friends, it was a good mix of kids of all ages and countries. The ladies from the kid club kept my son engaged as well and the rest of the team kepts us entertained and happy. Normally by the 3rd day I want to head home, not the case here. The staff made us feel at home from the entertainment team, bartenders, security, buffet staff and management. I will definitely go back to Viva.

It was an amazing stay! My husband and I stood for nine days and it was just amazing. The staff is very attentive and friendly! I would definitely stay again! The entertainment was also great!

The absolute worst resort I could have stayed at. Every single female at the front desk has a disgusting demeanor almost like they are bothered that you have questions or requests. Food is beyond mediocre, literally did not enjoy NOT one meal. Then the smoking, good lord everywhere you went you did not escape the constant smoking. Ugh, I went with my son (14) for spring break and if it wasn’t for the three excursions I booked to minimize the stay at the actual resort it would have been a complete disaster. Entertainment…. They get an A for effort but well …… a children’s talent show would be much more entertaining. Beds - hard. Ohhhhh I almost forgot. Housekeeping. The rooms don’t have additional locks on them, like the bars that reinforce for privacy while in room, sooooo expect the housekeeper to barely knock on the door and be standing over your head when you pop your eyes open lmao absolutely ridiculous. Imagine being undressed or a couple in their private time. STAY AWAY.

It was terrible. The food at the buffet was horrible, they gave me the wrong room and said I can upgrade for ten dollars a day per person at a different hotel, how sway! The cleaning lady left my room door opened after cleaning and said I was lying she didn’t leave it open. It rained the entire time I was there so any water excursions was canceled. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you do decide to go you will want your money back.
