I'll start by saying this resort was better than expected and that's a very good thing. It's my 4th trip to Cancun and 2nd with AM Resorts. I'll stick with AM from now on, they haven't treated me wrong. I have nothing bad to say about the resort. We bought the Deal of the Day room and it was a good value. You won't get M&M's or bug spray in the room but I'll trade $300 in savings for that. You may walk more and not have a good view but that will cost you $500 to $1,000 more anywhere else for 5 nights. Jesus at the pool bar is the best around for service and I have to give a shout out to Cesar, Alfonso, Antonio and Oscar at the bars, they are amazing. Their service is top notch when you tip $5 to start and they earn it. Plan to bring everything you need or the gift shop will add up quickly. This resort also has Captain Morgan, a big plus. I've stayed at Moon Palace, Excellence, Now Jade and now at Now Sapphire ( all in the Cancun area) and I would not hesitate to come back or recommend this place.
