Good hostel
Great location by the beach, bus terminal and town centre and really friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English. It offers plenty of amenities and is a good hostel. I booked a private room which I found a little expensive for one person. It was a bit cheaper than a hotel room but also more basic than a hotel room but clean and secure and more than fine for a few nights, especially given the great location. The breakfast wasn't great though as it's typical hostel fare, but you'll find plenty of decent coffee down the road

Hostel Argentina getaway
Hotel staff very helpful, always English speaking staff, assisted with ideas for local things to do and see. Only 2 or 3 blocks from coast. I stayed in female only dorm, only 3 bunk beds, 6 lockable cabinet/lockers but you need your own lock. Large bathroom. Music played from somewhere at night on weekend, loud but only with open window. Kitchen available for use, storage and cooking.

Very nice, helpful staff and nice accommodation. This is a hostel, not a hotel, so for its purposes, it was perfect for us.

Not right in the middle, but great hostel owner!!!
This is not right in the middle of puerto iguazu, and puerto iguazu is so hot that it matters. Most of the room was clean but not all of it. The owner is really nice and would help you as much as you need and is really friendly. Breakfast was enough for me.

Good budget stay in the center of Puerto Madryn
I was a bit nervous about staying at a youth hostel in my age (mid-40s). But as long as you stay at a twin or double room, it was pretty much the same as in a typical budget hotel. The use of common kitchen can be regarded as an extra bonus. Besides, the reception was great. Considering my tight travel schedule, I wanted to book the tours in advance. The English-speaking male receptionist called Facundo handled my request without any errors even if I made my request 5.5 months before my arrival at the hostel. Also, the heater in my room got broken and I notified the fact around 5 p.m. The female receptionist promised me to take care of the situation in several hours. I doubted that the heating would actually be recoverd. However, the heating did in fact recovered by 10 p.m. and I enjoyed the comfortable stay though I borrowed extra blankets in preparation for non-recovery of heater considering the nature of late evening repair works.

Lovely place to stay - great town too
What a nice hostel! Very clean. Nice big kitchen and common area. The rooms are pretty comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to provide advice, information of the local areas, and are just friendly too. I'd highly recommend a stay here. Convenient to the beach and the grocery store as well.

Really good hostel
Great hostel, positioned between bus terminal and beach. Staff are friendly and helpful booking excursions. There is plenty of communal space to relax and hammocks in the garden. Kitchen is also large and well equipped. The double room was very clean and tidy. A really good standard for a hostel, even had cable TV and large flat screen. Breakfast is poor and the rooms could be more soundproof, otherwise fantastic.

Great value in a hostel setting!
We had a great stay in Puerto Madryn and at the Hostel Gualichio. The staff is exceptional, very customer-oriented, and always willing to go the extra mile. They arranged a tour to the Peninsula Valdes for a reasonable rate. The room we had was very good, large and with lots of light and a private bath. The first night there were noises coming in through the roof and when we reported the noise they were up there right away to investigate: it was a loose tree branch and they took care of cutting it back right away. The common areas are large and comfortable. You have a safe in the private rooms and you have to be buzzed in through a gate, so the security is good too (although really, Puerto Madryn feels safe everywhere). The only downside is the very limited breakfast choices: cereal or bread and jam. If they could expand breakfast, this place would be almost perfect!

Highly recommend for foreign guests
Overall, i was very happy with our stay at El Gualicho. The hostel was very nice and conveniently located near the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and fairly fluent in English. Breakfast was very basic, mostly bread, coffee, and corn flakes. Note: they accept CASH ONLY, which I didn't realize. They offer a better exchange rate for US Dollars, better than the market price. (At the time, it was 8 to 1.) Wish the towels were newer.

We recommend this place
Really nice hostel. We stayed in a private room. It was very clean with lots of space. Good facilities for cooking your own meal. The only downsite was the breakfast, but it is easy to get buy your own supplement to upgrade it.

Bien placé, la chambre est assez grande avec un coffre-fort qui est tjs utile, le petit bémol est qu’il n’y a pas de climatisation et le ventilateur fait un peu du bruit.

価格相当の宿泊先、シャワートイレが共同の部屋だった１点だけが残念。
フロントでクジラウォッチングやバルデス半島、その他のツアーが購入できるので便利。シャワートイレ付きの部屋もあるが、私は共同の部屋だったので、その点だけが不便だったが、あとは軒並み快適と言える。

国立公園、空港から近い
次回も利用したいホテルです、国立公園と空港から近いという立地が良いかと。フロントの対応も良く過ごしやすかった。レストランだけは、あまり私の口にはあわなかった。

Merci pour tes commentaires. Beaucoup de gens apportent des coquillages de la plage et les laissent dans les salles de bains pour les nettoyer et les prendre comme souvenirs. Malheureusement, il y a des passagers qui les oublient dans la salle de bain et nous devons les nettoyer. Heureusement, puisque nous nettoyons tous les jours, nous pouvons les enlever rapidement. Désolé pour tout inconvénient d'odeur qui peut avoir causé. Avec nos meilleures salutations

Recepção muito cordial. Hostal familiar, com jovens, adultos e família com filhos. Muito bem localizado, com café da manhã, garagem. Ambiente agradável, bonito e limpo.

Me pareció un muy buen hostel. Las fotos describen tal cual el lugar. El personal es muy amable y podes reservar las excursiones desde la recepción. De acuerdo a los dichos de una persona local de Puerto Madryn, es el mejor hostel de la ciudad. Con respecto al desayuno, si bien éste no tiene mucha variedad me pareció bastante aceptable. La cocina funciona de 7 a 24. Lo que sí, cabe tener en cuenta que el precio que se fija por web no incluye IVA y que hay que pagar en efectivo.

El hostel está bien ubicado, los servicios son suficientes. Las sabanas no son limpias. Lo negativo es que te cobran en dólares al estar en tu propio país. Entonces uno viaja pensando que va a pagar un precio y de repente aumenta en un 50%.

Cambiate lavanderia!
lenzuola indecenti, grigie, non stirate e con un bel PELO nero. Di sera tardi al momento di coricarmi chiedo nuove lenzuola. Mi rifaccio il letto e quelle nuove avevano invece MACCHIE organiche. Le federe erano così sporche che ho preferito dormire sul cuscino nudo perché abbastanza nuovo. Asciugamani un po maleodoranti. Camera tristanzuola assai. Colazione ai minimi storici. Staff gentile e amichevole. Costo carissimo per quello che offre. Non lo raccomando!

séjour agréable dans cet hôtel, très bon rapport qualité bonnes propositions d'excursions(visite de la péninsule Valdes avec guide privé pour notre part). Personnel sympathique, jeune et de bon conseil: beaucoup de services appréciables dans ou aux alentours de l'hôtel. Chambre très basique sans climatisation ni sèche-cheveux mais tout à fait fonctionnelle.

HERMOSA EXPERIENCIA.
Fue muy lindo, desde el arribo, excelente la atención, el lugar precioso, se ve al personal haciendo sus tareas con eficiencia.
