"We stayed in Villa 1 and it was lovely. Communication and service was very efficient. The hot tub is a big bonus! The bedrooms are both upstairs, and you go out onto the hot tub deck in order to access the stairs to get up to the bedrooms. One of the bedrooms (with the large bed) has air-conditioning, and the other bedroom has a medium size bed, plus a single bed but no air conditioning. You can move fans upstairs for the room with no air-conditioning during the hot season and it gets cool at night because you’re in the mountains and in the forest. I especially like that the kitchen is well equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, and a blender."

"Bosque del Cabo is a destination in itself. Overlooking the Pacific and Gulf on the Osa Peninsula it is beautifully maintained, wildlife are all around, trails are rugged and moderate, and the staff could not be more personal and helpful. Meals are delicious We had menu choices for breakfast and lunch; dinner was a communal buffet with many options. There are cookies out and cocktail appetizers. Our cabin was perfect-a thatched spacious casita with a large bathroom and lovely outdoor garden shower. All very private. The deck had lounge chairs, hammock, table and chairs and a breathtaking view of the ocean with birds swooping all day. The owner was just wonderful and on the property and the people we met were very interesting and good company. I highly recommend Bosque! We can’t say enough good things about it. Be aware, the road to the airport and beach is a very bumpy ride and the planes from San Jose are only 10-seaters. "

"This property is AMAZING, the views, birds, monkeys, home...everything was wonderful. We plan to come back and can easily recommend it to anyone. We were greeted by the Caretaker Isaac, he and his wife Anaise were amazing during our stay. Super helpful, available to assist or answer questions as needed. Isaac speaks fluent English and is a great asset. We also had the chef Rafa come in for several meals, he was amazing, made incredible home cooked Costa Rican meal and we can also highly recommend him. Be sure to rent not only a 4x4 vehicle, but something high profile. The road from Puerto Jimenez is bad, however the road that you turn onto to get to the property, well that is horrible. We rented a 4 x 4 vehicle, however it was not a high profile one and we bottomed out several times on the "road". It takes an hour to go 11 miles, be sure to get something high profile! We also wanted to point out a few things that are listed as amenities that the home does not have - there is no toaster and no washer and dryer. You can have the care takers do your laundry for you if needed. We didn't pack enough clothes for our entire stay as we had planned to wash our clothes while there. This was one of the best properties I have ever stayed at, if you are up for adventure, watching monkeys, birds, swimming, surfing, hiking etc, this is the place for you."
