This is a cozy, family operated hotel--more like a bed and breakfast. It was a bit hard for my taxi driver to find, especially since the sign was hidden in the foliage. But we finally found it and I was warmly welcomed. Room was two flights up and curving stairs a little tricky. So if mobility is a problem and luggage is heavy know this ahead of time. It wasn't an issue for me but I was thinking how my husband, who couldn't come at the last moment due to medical issues, would have had some problems. The electricity went out and was still out when I was packing in the early morning to leave. I pulled out my flashlight to pack. This of course is not the hotel's fault and such things happen. The mother-daughter team who operate the hotel were friendly, helpful and did all they could to make my stay lovely. The end of the road location on the river was beautiful. A great restaurant, Jasy, was within walking distance and I became a "regular." All in all a wonderful stay. I only took off a point because walking the stairs might be difficult for some so potential visitors should know this. I am sure the owner and her daughter would be happy to help carry up luggage. I was able to manage my own.
