However, they quickly realised their mistake and gave me the managers room within 15 minutes. The hotel is fine. There's a nice pool, the food is ok in the restaurant and the staff are fairly friendly. The hotel itself is right on the beach so the views are pleasant. I stayed in a cabin room which wasn't luxurious, but then it didn't come with a luxurious price tag - so it was pretty good value. Some of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea which look very nice. Sabang itself is not the nicest place to stay in the Philippines. The room was small but adequate. The bathroom is basically a walk in closet and the toilet was almost in the shower. The window style AC built into the wall was excessively noise and the walls are extremely thin. The combination prevented me from sleeping at all. The staff was aloof and inattentive. I was booked for 6 days and I checked out after the first night.
