Blue Horizon Real Estate Casa Guadalupe is a beautiful home overlooking Playa Zicatela and consists of three levels plus a rooftop palapa with a gorgeous view of Zicatela Beach. Garden/entry level features 1 bedroom w/twin beds and ensuite bathroom. Also on this level is a salita w/bar, sink, gas grill, mini fridge, laundry room, storage and pool. Main level includes terraza, living room, dining room, and kitchen which was recently equipped with a new fridge and stove. Also featured is a half bath and storage. Upstairs are 2 generous bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, balconies with ocean views, providing a blissful start to the day or, at bedtime, drifting off to sleep with the sound of the ocean. The large rooftop palapa is a great venue in which to relax and enjoy watching daring surfers on one of the world’s most renowned beaches or spotting whales migrating during the winter season. The palapa features a bar, mini fridge, and sink. It’s a perfect place to read in the hammock or entertain family and friends as you enjoy Puerto’s gorgeous sunsets. Enjoy a refreshing jump into the newly added swimming pool! This lovely home is situated 1 minute from the beach which provides a great morning walk to the Punta or the Playa Principal. It is located 10 minutes from the restaurants, shops and clubs of Zicatela. Vibrant nightlife on the weekends, quiet during the day. It can be noisy on weekend nights -- we've supplied brown noise machines to cover the sound of music from the nearby nightclubs. If noise is a concern, this may not be the right place for you. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace. A thorough cleaning was provided three times a week, which we did not expect and is unusual for a whole-house rental. The kitchen is well stocked, although there is no microwave oven (?). There is a built-in water filter on the cold-water (righthand) side of the kitchen sink, so you don't have to buy bottled water.The generalized "location" shown on the VRBO map is inaccurate – the house is actually on the beach side of the main highway and is, in fact, just steps from the beach itself.In addition to being "pet friendly", the house comes with its own pets! There are three resident cats (two are shown in one of the photos), and the man who cleans the pool comes by morning and evening every day to feed them. (Yes, he has a key and just lets himself in.)The main problem we had is that the electricity was cut off in the middle of the night five of the six nights we were there. This meant that the air conditioning (separate units in each bedroom) did not work properly, functioning only as fans and not cooling the air. We did not get a good night's sleep the whole week we were there. This was not the fault of the owner or manager but of the power company, but it is important to know. ##### Mark F. Centrally located, so there’s fun in either direction. It is located near a club so if there is a special event it can be loud throughout the night.
