The hallway carpet and general building condition was dirty and rundown so we were apprehensive about going to our room but it was refreshingly clean and updated. The staff was very nice and the room was comfortable and the bed was decent.

The hotel advertises a restaurant and lounge it is closed they don't have Cooks. The room was Dusty and definitely needs upgrading and the worst part of the stay was the cockroaches. Do not recommend this hotel the front desk staff was nice and friendly, that was the only nice part about the hotel.

There are cockroaches in the room, they advertise a restaurant and bar that is closed. I wouldn't eat there anyway with the cockroaches. Definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel

Sep 3, 2023. Trying to stay the weekend at Pueblo, CO. Unfortunatelly we checked in at midnight and our Hotel Clarion was gross with cockroaches, and it doesnt smell clean at all. Hotels.com couldnt relocate us in another desent hotel. Instead give us $75. credit to use in another time. So sad that our plans were ruined and had to go back to our city.

Check-in was good. There’s a big pothole on our way to where the rooms are located and it’s hard to avoid. The bathroom are not cleaned thoroughly, you can see mold/mildew between the sink and counter top. We found a live cockroach the next morning in our room. When we went to breakfast around 8am, there were no cups for the juice, the milk jug was empty, the sausage and bacon were all gone, the waffle batter was empty. It seems they were not in a hurry to refill anything. When I went to check out, the person at the desk was slow coming out of the back and on her cellphone.

There was no plastic bags in the ice tray and it was filthy. I walked into the bathroom and there is a bug crawling on the tub. the beds where not very comfortable. If we had needed and Iron there was not one.

I think this hotel may have been hit hard by the pandemic. Used to have lounge/restaurant/event center...now the overall property needs some TLC. The rooms were comfortable and clean, fridge and micro. Rooms updated. Bathroom tiny-if you are a large person, it would be hard to get in the bathroom and shut the door. Consider asking if the handicapped room has large bathroom. Had full breakfast, but ran out before the time was up, so we didn't get much...staff was fine. Elevators work so don't have to lug suitcases up stairs. A bit sketchy in the area, but I think that's what Pueblo is dealing with. Pool was gorgeous and long enough to do laps. I would stay there again. Check different price listings before you book!
