If you're feeling adventurous, schedule a whale watching tour or a sailing lesson at Provincetown Harbor, which awaits only half a mile northeast. With the Murphy bed pulled out, the remainder of the studio cottage becomes unusable (I sometimes do work after wife goes to sleep, and this was not possible). The manager charges fees in addition to the listed price (cleaning and a sort of insurance). Since we did not spend more than 10 minutes, I inquired about a refund, and was told no. I wrote back and asked about other properties or refund of the additional fees as we would not be staying there. I received no response. The place makes a NYC studio look large. Pictures made me see it differently from what it was. It was clean...just really really tiny. I had to find a hotel, and paid the rental price plus fees (cleaning and extra insurance even though I did not stay)...and never heard back. There are MUCH roomier and less expensive deals off season in Provincetown. ##### Andrew H. It was my first time in Ptown and though there are many places to choose from to stay at it can be overwhelming especially if you never been. I lucked out! While searching, this place popped up and from the pictures I made my decision to book it not knowing exactly where it was located or if it would be as nice as in the pictures. It was everything..and more! The place is small and quaint, perfect for 1 or 2 people. It is immaculately clean, new, bright, well designed with all the necessary ammenties for comfy short or long stay. Best of all, it's private, stands on it own with its own entrance and perfectly situated a block from the heart of it all. I highly recommend it!! It made my first time experience in Ptown all the better.
