He put us in contact with his friend Abdul to rent a car and that was a godsend. Be sure to come in the back way in order to avoid hauling luggage up a LOT of stairs! This apartment was clean, had all amenities we could ever need and everything worked great. 2 pools - the one directly off the deck was not heated, the adjacent pool was heated. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine after exploring on the island. The location was perfect for us, away from the crowds at Grace bay and centrally located to all that was of interest to us such as the beautiful sunset over the water in Sapodilla beach ( although the sunset at Grace bay was beautiful it actually set over land across the water this time of the year). The location was an easy and short drive to all the restaurants we were interested in trying out—Omar’s, Da Conch Shack, mango Reef and the unforgettable Thursday night fish fry. Roberto was very responsive, always responded to my questions within minutes. His suggestion for rental car service (Abdul)was spot on. Our car was delivered to us at the airport upon arrival and we dropped it off at the end of our stay at the airport shortly before departure. The cold pool is shocking but refreshing after a day in the sun. I felt safe here all the time. The people everywhere on the island were so kind. The driving is insane so beware.
