The property has a lot to offer. The cove the house is located on is very nice and boat traffic was at a minimum. The screened in porch provides a nice option for sitting outside and enjoying the lake views. A neighboring property had some enthusiastic partiers the weekend we stayed, but their noise was not bothersome when inside the house. We would happily stay here again and feel comfortable bringing our whole family.That said, and it may simply be the result of it being near the end of the summer season, there are a few maintenance items that should be addressed. A couple of areas could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning. ##### Frank N. I loved that it had a screened porch. Location on the lake was great - especially with kids. It was our first time to Lake Murray so I enjoyed the ruralness and the beautiful drive to get to the cottage. You are about 25-30 minutes away from a store if you need something. We highly recommend checking out Chickenbutt Donuts towards Chapin if you love a cake donut - such a fun spot. We also enjoyed spending some time in the town of Newbury.
