Princeville 3BR/3BA Home on Golf Course-Mtn Views, screen in Lanai! This is a beautiful three bedroom, three bath home on the 11th fairway of the Makai Lakes Course in beautiful Princeville, Kauai. Enjoy the breathtaking views from literally EVERY room! Seriously--each room is like a 'Photograph'.. Split level design for entertainers delight. Large living area and one of the master suites with a king size bed upstairs. Lovely screened in lanai overlooking mountain and waterfall views with flare of Hawaiian Ambiance. Wonderful over-sized suite downstairs with its own private entrance. Both downstairs rooms face the golf course and open to patio overlooking lake views. Both of these rooms have their own bath and queen size beds. Relax on your own private patio while star gazing. There is plenty of extra room in the large oversized bedroom for us to set up a very comfortable airbed with linens. This is a great 4th bed if needed without using the living room. We have also just completed a complete kitchen remodel, new roof, exterior paint etc etc Other special features of this truly golf course home include tile floors throughout, vaulted ceilings, open floor plan with lots of windows and light.The house sits on a large lot that is fully landscaped for privacy and a tropical feeling with many floral, exotic palms, and fruit trees. This is equivalent of three hotel rooms but in a beautiful golf course frontage home for a fraction of the cost. Lots of privacy for three couples or extended families. We will be leaving beach chairs, surfboards, umbrella’s, boogie boards, ice chest, games and much more for you and your guests enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home, spices, condiments, rice cooker, crockpots etc. There is a 2 acre park across the way with a volleyball net and lots of room for other outdoor activities. While there is no A/C, it's not needed, the ceiling fans and overall temperatures on Kauai keep the house comfortable. The owners were very responsive and quickly answered all my questions. This home was the perfect location for the activities and beaches that we like to frequent. Three full bathrooms were a definite plus. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There was nothing that we needed that we could not find. The landscaping was beautiful. We were a little disappointed that only one of the beach umbrellas was useable - the others were all broken, and the cooler available had an odor that kept us from putting food and beverages in there for the beach. Had we not counted on them knowing they were there, we would have purchased at Walmart in Lihue for less than we had to spend in Princeville. That being said, there were still plenty of items made available for our use that we really enjoyed and many houses offer nothing at all. The location is great for north shore excursions, plenty of beaches nearby. The house was clean, nicely furnished and well equipped (though with 7 people we ran out of silverware after every meal and had to do dishes immediately - but that's nit picking) - beach toys, boogie and surf boards, umbrellas, chairs, games, DVDs, proper cooking knives, laundry detergent, plenty of beach towels, condiments, etc. - you name it - it was all there. Marvelous views of the golf course and the mountains. The screened in lanai was perfect, too - we ate here every meal, used the BBQ a couple of times, and sat here after dinner playing games and sipping our drinks. I hope we will be back on day! She responded that it would not be a problem. I decided to check our reservations one month before we were to leave and she wrote me back that she had made a mistake and she had booked a family on the day she ok'ed for us to stay. She said she would look for a place for us to stay, I also started looking. To make a long story short, she said there was a place in Kapaa. I found a place in Princeville on my own and told her this fact she responded thanking me. Here is my grievance this was a retirement vacation for me after working 40 years, this was supposed to be special, but not only did we have to go through the trouble of finding a place in the area that we wanted to vacation in, but on arrival I found it had two flights of stairs to get to the main part of the house, I am partially disabled and subsequently fell down the stairs on the day we arrived fracturing two ribs and braking two toes and receiving several lacerations. This laid me up for two weeks and getting up and down stairs for me was next to impossible. My point is that it was a major inconvenience to have to pack up all our belongings, find a place, move on the day before we were supposed to come back, we essentially lost a day of our vacation there should have been at the very least a small discount of some kind. ##### Thomas G. Plenty of space, beach toys in the garage, laundry soap, shower soap, everything you need except food and even then there are spices and some condiments in the fridge. My only mistake was not looking around enough amd bought some things at the store that were already there. Beautiful princeville area and marvelous views. Very close to activities and beaches. A little more pricy for things in the princeville area, but close to kapaa where you can get things a little cheaper. Overall magical experience..we will be back! Mahalo!! ##### Mattie W. The beach (that is within walking distance) was gorgeous. We were snorkeling for hours and had such a great time. My wife and I went with two other couples and it made it easy since everyone had their own room and bathroom. The screened in lanai was great too. Was well stocked with so many extras...... spices, condiments, toys for the children, beach equipment, movies, many extra kitchen appliances. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this home. Only thing I would add is a list of which light switches operate which fan or light.. some were marked and the house was so well lit. The owners communicated well during our stay and have lots of extra items around the house to make your time in Hawaii easy. Overall it's really nice, but there are some small things that could be fixed/improved upon. 3 bikes are available, though two of them are in need of repairs. Body boards and surf boards are available as well. There are plenty of snorkeling/dive masks, snorkels, towels, even water shoes and flip flops. Bring your own adult size mask though if you've got more than a couple adults. Lots of board games and cards plus reading material around the house too. The driveway was also enough to easily fit two cars. The location was nice. The development is quiet and can be a nice place to walk around. The house is right on the golf course as well. Yard and patio are nice to relax around. You can walk down to Wyllie's Beach by walking through/past the Westin Princeville Resort (15 minute walk). Cleanliness of the house was near-perfect. Some of the showers and doors could use some touching up. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone who is looking to stay Kauai's north side! ##### Daniel J. My husband, two daughters and friend were simply awed when we walked in the door! Rhonda, the owner, was very thorough start to finish in setting up the rental, providing lots of extra information for fun things to do!
