Wake up in a romantic ocean view bedroom that has louvered solid wood doors that glide shut to create a haven of privacy. Enjoy wooden floors throughout, upgraded kitchen appliances, comfortable furnishings and beautiful artwork from local Hawaiian artists. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed, and 100% cotton linens and curtains throughout. There is an additional full sized bed in the living room area which also boasts an unobstructed ocean view. Full kitchen. Additional amenities include free wifi, cable television, washer and dryer. There is a pool and BBQ area (BYOB - Bring Your Own Briquettes). Our Princeville vacation rentals at Sealodge Kauai are located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, ending at a dramatic ocean bluff. For guests who are comfortable with a ten minute hike, a short but rugged private trail leads you from the unit to Sealodge Beach, where guests may enjoy all that Northshore Kauai beaches have to offer: swimming, sunning, beach combing, and snorkeling, Shopping and dining are conveniently close, with the Princeville shopping center and Foodland grocery store just a mile and a half away. The charming town of Hanalei and the world famous Hanalei beaches are a brief ten minute drive from the condo. Sealodge is comfortable, quiet, island casual and perfect for guests who wish to explore the Northshore and its unparalleled natural wonders. (Note that due to physical characteristics of the property and its geography, this property may not be suitable for children.) As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, but has overhead fans and invigorating cross-breezes from screened windows. This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators. You may park your rental car in the Sealodge parking lot immediate adjacent to your unit, after printing the parking permit emailed to you prior to arrival. This home has the most reliable internet available in the Princeville area, however the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party. Location is truly amazing. Its very last building on the cliff facing the ocean. Views are breathtaking. Sleeping with windows open you can only hear sounds of ocean. Unforgettable experience thru night and unbelievable views during the day. Condo was clean, well equipped. Appliances in the kitchen are outdated , but they are all working. As mentioned in description, there is no AC in this unit. We didn't spend much time there thru the day , but during nights we had windows open and several fans turned on to cool this place. No issue there, at least for us. Since this is very last unit , you have to walk about 100 yds downhill from parking lot. Building itself looks odd from outside, but inside its a different story. The buildings do not look very nice but the inside of the unit is great! The view of the ocean and greenery is absolutely beautiful. Just a few things while we were here— it gets so hot throughout the day, even with an extra fan we brought ourselves and the breeze coming through the windows it was very hard to cool off. The light in the bathroom went out during our stay but we know that it will be taken care of before the next person gets here. There is also a gap in one of the windows when you open it to the screen so we just left that one closed during our stay. Other than that it was fantastic and they provided us with everything we needed. If we could get used to sleeping with no AC, we would definitely stay here again. ##### Emily B. The furniture is really nice and the surprising thing is the beds could really be firmer and newer. I was surprised that with all of the attention to the rest of the unit, it seemed like less attention was on the comfort of the beds. For me they were quite soft.
