Sandpiper 120A is a bright and open one bedroom condo, great for travelers on a budget, or who prefer the "local feel". This homey apartment has a full size kitchen, spacious living and bed rooms, a large private lanai, and extended ensuite bathroom and vanity. The queen size sleeper sofa allows you to sleep two more guests as well, perfect for families with kids! WiFi and SmartTV included. The Sandpiper Village, ideally situated right in the heart of Princeville, allows you to hit all the North Shore hotspots! Sealodge Beach, a beautiful and secluded hidden gem, is just 20 minutes away. Enjoy a laidback walk on the pedestrian path by the Makai Golf Course before braving the muddy trail down to Sealodge Beach. Anini Beach, great for snorkeling, swimming, and sunset strolls, is also just 15 minutes away on foot. You can stop by the Westin Resort to grab Starbucks before heading out to the beach, or grab dinner at the Nanea Restaurant after an afternoon in the sun. You can also walk to the Princeville Shopping Center just a mile away for everything from groceries, shave ice, and locally churned ice-cream, to happy hour, farmers markets, and hula shows. For more excitement, and some of the best beaches in the world, you can drive just 10 minutes away to the bustling island village of Hanalei. If you prefer to do less and relax more on vacation, the Sandpiper complex is perfect for a laidback staycation. Spend the day lounging and soaking up the sun by the tiled pool and jacuzzi, or sear up some ultra-fresh fish on the communal gas grills. Afterwards you can end your day enjoying the tropical weather with a drink on the lanai. If you're looking to explore the rest of the island on vacation, be sure to budget your time accordingly. Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 55 minutes, and drive time to the South Shore is 75 minutes. Princeville is such a nice quiet area. The condo was nice and as expected. It could use a little touch up here and there but we have found that's the case with most places. There is a full kitchen, regular size refrigerator, and two Weber gas grills at the pool for those who like to partake of the fresh fish and produce available on island. The lanai is pleasant and looks out on greenery, grass, and the pool, although the pool is hidden by a fence. The unit has designated parking, although sometimes others parked there. However, management quickly responded, and there were always other spaces available. It is important to know that this is an condo complex and so there can be noise. However, this usually ceased at designated hours. Also, the bedroom and connected bathroom had windows that opened onto the lanai next door. When I first got there, people were sometimes making noise early in the AM or after quiet hours at night. The next people there did not do this. Overall, this is nice, convenient unit for a single or a couple wanting to be in Princeville and close to Hanalei. Anini Beach, my favorite, is just a short drive as well. Also management can provide guidance and booking for local activities. ##### Robb M. The unit has a handsomely landscaped lanai providing some privacy and is very close to the pool. With the window vents open and the fans on the climate was always comfortable. I cooked at least once a day and the kitchen appliances and cookware was fine for my needs. The bed was very comfortable and we had no challenges sleeping. Princeville center was about a 20 minute walk away and like 5 for driving. Hanalei is less than 10 minutes away for great evening dining or a day at the beach. Possibly the prettiest beach I've ever seen and never crowded. Beach chairs and an umbrella are in the closets. We borrowed the cooler as well to have nice picnics at beach and elsewhere on our sightseeing adventures. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and the availability of a French press and great Hawaiian coffee made every morning on the lanai a treat. Overall the experience was everything we wanted and look forward to a return. ##### William H. The condo itself had everything you might need on a vacation. It felt like a home away from home after long days of sight seeing, hiking, swimming... It is far from all the main island attractions. If you stay here, be prepared to make at least a 45 minute drive to any attractions beyond Hanalei Bay. ##### Crystal P. We were there to hike, so at the end of the day, the hot tub was great for my legs and feet !! Swimming pool was very nice. They indicated that there was a lockbox with a key, so we spent forever trying to get into the lockbox and by chance found the electric keypad lock behind the screen door. Besides that, the condo was very nice. If you are accustomed to air-conditioning, the "island breeze cooling" is very different, and works the best in the bedroom where the main shutters are. The kitchen is sparsely stocked, so be prepared for simple cooking or purchasing your own spices. The condos are also very densely packed which means you can almost always hear your neighbors and there is a porch right outside the bathroom window. Overall, comfortable condo in a nice area, and great location overall in-between Kilauea and Hanalei. ##### Daniel F. Séjour de 7 nuits en mai 2022
