Make yourself at home in the islands ... Welcome to Pali Ke Kua 201. Perched on a bluff overlooking the ocean, this stunning corner unit features 270-degree breathtaking views of Bali Hai, mountain waterfalls and expansive ocean vistas. With windows on three sides of the home, guests will feel like they are in their own private retreat enjoying the magnificent views by day and being lulled to sleep by the soothing sound of waves at night.

This spectacular oceanfront condo features a main level master bedroom (king bed) and a bright and airy upstairs loft suite (two twin beds). Each bedroom has an ensuite, newly tiled, full bathroom with shower.

Pali Ke Kua 201 is an extraordinary corner unit which showcases panoramic ocean vistas, views of Bali Hai, magnificent mountains and cascading waterfalls on Namolokama and Mamalohoa. Breathtaking scenery from every room includes humpback whales, brilliant rainbows and tropical gardens. This home is a perfect honeymoon hideaway, an ideal place to celebrate your anniversary/special occasion and a great place to come with your family.

Your home-away-from-home is light and airy with soaring cathedral ceilings, a skylight, whisper quiet fans, new wood flooring throughout, a fully equipped and remodeled kitchen, a library of Hawaiian/Pacific history books and a TV with Fire Stick. For your convenience, this unit has a clothes washer and dryer on the main floor.

The large, slate-tiled outdoor lanai has a chaise lounge as well as a dining table and chairs for fully enjoying the magnificent views. You'll see humpback whales in winter as well as albatross and nene year-round. Watch for double rainbows, outrigger canoes, surfers, waterfalls (we have counted as many as 28), fantastic waves and magnificent sunsets all without leaving your island home.

Just outside the condo, there is a private, paved path to a secluded, white-sand beach, Hideaways, which has world-class seasonal snorkeling and frequent turtle encounters. An on-property private swimming pool and jacuzzi are just steps away from your front door as well as an on-site restaurant, Hideaways Pizza Pub, for dine-in or take-out service.

At Pali Ke Kua, you are surrounded by lush tropical palms, acres of lawn, and native flowers and trees. You are just minutes from world-famous Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach, Ke'e Beach, Ha'ena Beach Park and the Kalalau Trail.

Outdoor activities: Enjoy golfing on two world-class courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., kayaking the Hanalei River, surfing world-famous point breaks, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip lining, playing tennis and pickleball, hiking the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast and shopping at the weekly farmer's markets in Hanalei Town and Kilauea. Mixed Experience - Stunning Views, with Drawbacks

The Bali Hai and mountain vistas here are truly unmatched, and the remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are fresh upgrades. However, a few drawbacks that I think worth mentioning:- Insect invasion: Old, warped window/door screens with gaps and holes let in swarms of insects. While most were harmless, the relentless mosquitoes disrupted sleep.- Staircase challenges: Steep outdoor stairs (7 steps to the front door), immediately inside, you must climb 7 steep steps up to the upper level or descend 7 equally steep steps to the main living area. Not ideal for mobility concerns.- Check-in hassle: Physical key pickup at the Lihue office requires a short drive—digital locks would simplify this.- Outdated furniture: The couches were noticeably old, worn, and, well, less clean than you’d like them to be. A gem for the views, and if insects, stairs, and stylish furnishings are not your concerns, you’d love this place.

Lovely place to stay!

This is a fantastic unit, the view from the lanai is amazing. We were grateful that some beach gear was available for use. The pots and pans were in very poor condition making it really hard to use the kitchen easily. The knives were dull. The shower fixtures were old and are in need of care.

Exceptional Home on the N Shore of Kaua'i

Wonderful views, Well-appointed with all we needed for our stay. Wonderful winds blow through the home all day long. Listen to ocean waves day and night. It really is an exceptional home to spend a vacation on the N Shore.

Lovely location and floor format - slightly misleading amenities

This condo is in an amazing location/condo property - set right on the corner edge of the princeville bluffs above Hideaway beach (private paved access!) with a great pool steps away. The condo itself has amazing views and a great floorplan but is in need of updating (bathrooms, kitchen and carpeting). We had a lot of issues in the beginning as we found night 1 that the condo doesn't actually have satellite cable - only public access channels and a dvd player with a few dvds. This posed a major challenge since it rained and we were stuck inside a lot with a 3 year old. I offered to pay for cable, but was disappointed that the owner didnt see it as an issue that they inaccurately listed this amenity and denied making any changes while we were there. The condo rental owner came through though and loaned us a smart-dvd player that we were able to connect to netflix on for the evenings. Even then it was a pretty archaic set up. We otherwise had a great stay there - both Hanalei and Anini Beach are just a 10 minute drive. Recommend the area for sure but hope the owner will re-consider a cheap smart tv for those traveling with young children. That way they dont have to pay for cable at all and any family can link up to their own streaming services. Thanks to the rental company for being so partnering on a solve.

Amazing views!

We stayed for our honeymoon. Was our last stay and last island for the trip. Location is great. In my option Princeville is the best place to stay on Kauai. This property had amazing views. Sunsets are right in front and gorgeous. It's small hike to a private beach which is good for snorkeling. And not so good for swimming. Very rocky. Also we found a lot of useful beach gear in the closet. Chairs, snorkeling mask, tent and body surf boards which was great. The house itself was pretty outdated. Carpets were in worse shape than pictured. Kitchen appliances reminded me of summer house in soviet union. Stove was very old and rather difficult to cook on. I love to cook and that was a bit of disappointment. Overall we loved it. Location is great. Views are amazing. Place does need a remodel in order to be competitive with pricing in my opinion.

Amazing view. Great beach access. Amazing pool. Needs A/C perhaps

It's an incredible view, worth every penny. But the fact that the unit faces the sun most of the day makes it incredibly hot, particularly in the afternoons. Possibly very uncomfortable for some folks. It would be great to have A/C to make it a full 5 stars. It's a bit noisy as well given that it's the corner unit and next to the busy road to the Princeville Hotel. The pool is awesome. Best pool of any Princeville condos we've ever stayed at. And the fact you can walk directly to Hideaway Beach is a HUGE plus. On days in which we didn't feel like driving it was a godsend. Overall it was a great place to stay with our kids, with only those above points worth mentioning.

Beautiful location with superb view of ocean.

The property is beautiful, well situated above the ocean and well furnished. The only drawback is it’s proximity to the adjacent road. Also there were droppings of some type Gecko? that needed cleaning.

Truly Paradise

Overall, the views were spectacular. We had our coffee on the balcony every morning and enjoyed sunsets at the end of the day. The accommodations were OK. It was still raining a lot during our stay, so having no a/c made it a bit uncomfortable. Also there was an "infestation" of ants and geckos in the upstairs bathroom. Nothing to ruin the vacation, just alittle more attention to cleaning and maintenance.... The onsite pool and restaurant were very nice. The restaurant was on a very limited menu, do to the summertime, only pizza... BUT IT WAS GOOD PIZZA....!!!! Lots of activity's to do and sights to see. This was our 10th trip to Kauai and we would make the trip again to stay in this unit....

Condo in paradise

Pali Ke Kua 201 has a view to die for and all the basic amenities you really need for a great stay in Kaua'i. Being an end unit, it gives you amazing vistas from the living room and dining area. The decor is tastefully tropical. The kitchen has the utensils and appliances you need to cook "at home." The beds are firm and comfortable. There are beach chairs, towels, etc. to let you enjoy the beach. And as ever, the short walk down to Pali Ke Kua beach is the best amenity of all. I would give the unit 4.75 stars, if possible. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is the unit's need for a little deferred maintenance/updating/sprucing up. One of the ceiling fans broke during our stay. The chandelier over the dining table is very rusted but functional. The tile in the baths is showing its age. However, none of that detracted in any significant way from our enjoyment of our stay, and we would rent this iunit again. Mahalo for another great stay on Kaua'i.
