This spacious, newly renovated second floor unit provides unique, breathtaking views of South Pacific with Whale Watching against the backdrop of mesmerizing, romantic sunsets behind Bali’ Hai’ from your front porch. The rear balcony offers equally spectacular views of Hanalei Bay, with waterfalls gently cascading into the green lush rainforest of the World Famous Napali Coast. Because you are above the tall tree tops, you get the sense that you are in your very own Tree House! It is the perfect place for a romantic Honeymoon, family vacation, or just a special get-away. Literally, across the street, is the perfect location to catch the seasonal whale migration and the big surf of Kauai's famed North Shore. You can take one of three paths to three different beaches, including Hideaway’s Beach, Secret Beach, or the beach at Hanalei Bay at the base of The St. Regis Hotel. All offer safe snorkeling areas where you can enjoy colorful marine life with snorkel gear provided with each studio apartment. Beach chairs and beach towels are also provided to our guests. There is free reserved, permitted off-street parking steps from the front door. There is also free Wi-Fi and land line long distance telephone service to the US Mainland and Canada. There is a wall mounted cable HDTV, DVD player, and CD player. This unit has recently been completely renovated with the assistance of a professional decorator and designer to give it that genuine old Hawaiian look that is clean and inviting. The 20' ceilings gives a sense of spacious openness typical of traditional Polynesian homes. The unit was just furnished with a brand new, super comfy deep plush King Mattress and high thread count linens for a comfortable night's sleep after exploring the Island. I have also just installed a brand new 15,000 BTU window A/C unit for extra comfort. The FULL kitchen has also been recently remodeled with all new major appliances, cabinets, granite countertops, deep well sink with a garbage disposal, and other convenient amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals. There is a new stackable washer/dryer behind closed doors. The bathroom has also been completely modernized with new granite tile, cabinetry, granite countertops, and vessel sink. A hairdryer, iron, and ironing board is also provided. This unit sleeps up to six guests with a king bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and two twin beds in the loft area which is easily accessible with a newly designed staircase. The unit has a new powerful 15,000 BTU window AC unit as well as two new remote control ceiling fans for those rare warm days. Do you need more room? Please see my HomeAway Property #3957852 for Side 2 of this duplex which can sleep an additional four adults. Side 2 is smaller and perfect for a couple, but sleeps up to 4 guest. It has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, and wet bar, including a garbage disposal. Perfect for preparing breakfast and light snacks. You can rent just one side or both, depending on the number of guest in your party. Gentle, cool trade winds off the South Pacific, complimented with your private views of the mountains, Bali’ Hai’, and Hanalei Bay will leave you with lasting memories of The Garden Isle. Definitely has become our favorite. Condo was great and well equipped. The beach gear traveled with us during our stay. Unique set up for a Studio, we always rent a one bedroom but this was fine. Location was great. Walked to Hideaway beach and there was also a great shore walk at the end by the new hotel. Most of our beach time was spent at Hanalei Bay which was only 20 minutes away. Steps away from an insane lookout for sunrise and sunset. Super clean. Great communication with the host. We absolutely loved this area of Kauai and will be coming back as soon as possible. Great stay for a great price. Only little thing is that it is across the hall from another unit and you are able to easily hear through the doors. The condo had exactly what I needed: a comfortable bed on the main floor, kitchen to prepare healthy meals, reliable Wi-Fi and walking paths to everything from the Princeville Farmer’s Market and Hideaway beach. Highly recommend purchasing the fresh catch of the day at the fish market in Hanalei. Same fish market has THE best sushi rolls. SO many options for fresh produce at the many farms & outdoor markets in the area. Food trucks: Incredible Thai (red curry) at the Princeville Saturday market. African (Sudani style with a Carribean twist) curry at the farmers market in Hanalei was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever tasted. ##### Lynn E. Also, the balcony was shared with the other unit, so it was not private. This is part of the island life, windows always open, but there was construction going on next door for two out of the four mornings we were there and the workers were quite loud. The owner communicated thoroughly, providing instructions and helpful bits of information for the rental and the area we were visiting. Lots of beach supplies such as snorkel gear, flotation noodles, flippers, umbrella, beach towels/blankets, chairs, boogie boards, a few beach toys, and netted carry bags. The beach chair straps were broken from sun rot but we rigged it up - access to them was a plus anyhow. There are local places to rent chairs if needed. The kitchen was great and having a washer/dryer in the unit was helpful. The views off the lanai are beautiful but the view from across the street is a taste of heaven! Go out at night and enjoy the stars. This unit is great for families but doesn’t offer much privacy for couples traveling together. It was just two of us and we loved it. ##### Susan G. Nice place to stay as you explore Kauai and take in the North Shore. Overall great- would stay there again. -Lock box tough to get key out at first, After an all day travel day, took a bit, but we figured it out. -Parking can be tricky if another guest parks in your spot. Just keep the parking permit on your dash and you'll be fine. -Spectacular sunsets right outside your door every night. -Nice grocery store around the corner if you want snacks or ingredients to cook in the nice kitchen. -Quaint deck to sit and veiw the beautiful moutains and listen to all the wildlife. So many birds here! -The walks to great beaches were easy, but if you want to drive and park to get to a beach, very limited parking. -Neighbors right next store, but didn't hear them-felt very private, even though we share the deck. -and my husband could watch Sunday football by accessing his own YouTube account via the TV in the VRBO. -Very pleased and loved our stay! ##### Doug C. Beautiful view of the Makaleha Mountains and Hanalei Bay off the balcony. Ocean view out the front door. Lovely area and close to golf course which includes a walking path. The condo is very nice and everything you need in the kitchen, including lots of spices. Also provides beach towels and beach gear. Has a/c but we never used it because the days were mild and the evening cool. Stack washer/dryer in the kitchen was so convenient. King size bed was very comfortable. Minutes away from Foodland grocery store which has everything you need. Love the location in Princeville as you are close the Na’apali Coast and great hiking or head south to Kapa’a. Bubba’s burgers are very good. Also lots of restaurants and shops. Po’ipu Beach is nice and has a blowhole. Continue on up to Waimea Canyon.
