The second best view has to be of the rolling waves of the North Pacific Ocean, which is best viewed from the lanai. The view from the kitchen window is also stunning. The green hills in the center of the island always look spectacular, and the waterfalls scissoring through them add to the breathtaking view. This condo sleeps five comfortably with a queen bed, queen pull-out couch, and the aforementioned pune’e. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you could possibly need to whip up anything from a quick sandwich to take to the beach to a five course dinner. The condo has a flat-screen HD TV with WiFi available. The unit also has a washing machine and dryer. The unit is stocked with linens, beach toys, sand chairs, snorkeling gear, and boogie boards that all guests are welcome to use. The unit has recently received a makeover with new hardwood flooring throughout the condo and new furniture throughout as well. This condo truly makes for a relaxing getaway experience that all people of all ages can enjoy! I have been coming to the island since I was a young child, and my parents bought this condo as the original owners in 1972\. We like to keep the old Hawaiian spirit alive while bringing some modern flair to the island life. Enjoy your stay at Sealodge C2! I tried multiple methods and times to get a hold of the property manager, to no avail. I contacted VRBO, and they told me that the owner hadn't logged into VRBO since 2023 to check any messages. VRBO told me they couldn't help me and told me to book a hotel for a couple nights and I'd get reimbursed, which didn't happen and they won't write me back now. I don't know if the owner of the property is no longer able to access phone/email, but VRBO should also be vetting their properties on a more regular basis, or at all. ##### Chelsea P. There was gecko in room as well as large beetle which we couldn’t find after first spotting which was concerning. Location was ok, great access to local trail to beach , a 20 min walk to Westin restaurant. Loved the area in Kauia , very close to Hanalei bay. View from unit is amazing. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset over the water from our balcony, see whales playing in the ocean in the morning, and an easy drive to the activities we wanted to do during our stay. Con's: fairly run down and not very clean, appliances old and dated, door lock malfunctioned and we got locked out of unit and actually locked in unit (not good from a fire safety perspective), no water when we arrived and took 1 1/2 days to get that working, and poor responsiveness/communication from owners. The lock malfunction occurred on the last day we were there.
