Jan 10, 2023 #### Exceeded our Expectations This vacation home is a beautiful place to stay in Kauai, which is a dream island already. It's in a good location and it was clean, spacious, comfy and just what we needed for our group. We were nervous about not having AC but the fresh air, temperature, and air flow was more than comfortable the entirety of our stay in the home. We were able to cook almost every day with the equipment provided and the grocery store is just down the street. We used the electric grill on the patio, which wasn't great, but forgot about the grill's provided in the pool area! The beach chairs and water toys were so fun and convenient to have. Also, it was so helpful to have a pack-n-play in the house. Just beware of the downstairs shower water pressure. It is no joke. haha. Vacasa was communicative about directions and check in/out and even emailed to see how our stay was going. We also loved the welcome basket of goodies with the thoughtful note. Beautiful condo, comfortable for kids with a great loft area for kids to play/hang out. Beds and couch were comfortable. Definitely feels like a vacation rental (you can tell no one lives here). The shower/bath situation wasn’t great - tub wouldn’t stay full and the shower head wouldn’t turn off in bath mode. Made bathing kids hard (they prefer baths to showers). The downstairs shower has enough water pressure to be painful, so we just didn’t use it. The kitchen is nicely laid out, but is lacking things - lots of plastic stuff, but not enough non-plastic plates and cups. No dish drying rack for things that can’t go in the dishwasher. No dust pan if you want to sweep some of the inevitable sand. Oh, and cockroaches. That was not a nice surprise. The little issues we had were quickly resolved and to our satisfaction. The only thing I would suggest in this particular unit, is better fans. This condo does not have AC. We loved that when we arrived a few lights were on and island music was playing it really enhanced the experience. Two down things were minor one was that the parking was extremely limited and we were unable to find a spot on several nights when we came home a little later. The second was that we saw two cockroaches in the unit. But it seemed that those may have just come from the outside. Other things that should be improved would be new beach chairs as two were broken and to invest in new boogie boards as all four were broken in half prior to us coming. All in all we had a wonderful experience everyone was happy and had a great time and we look forward to coming back.. ##### Anne N. The kitchen was very well-equipped, we had loads of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pucks etc. Our only negative was that some of the noise (mostly walking) from the neighboring home carried over into the master bedroom of this rental.
