This section of Hideaways Beach is difficult to access except by this path and is therefore fairly secluded. It is known for incredible surfing, swimming and is considered to be one of the best snorkeling spots on Kauai's north shore. Pali Ke Kua Resort also features a big beautiful new pool and jacuzzi. The gorgeous pool area is very large with plenty of areas to relax and sunbathe or even nap in the shade. Your paying for the area and view. A few issues we had were door code didnt work at check in, had ants crawling out of island electrical socket, and washing machine had a fair amount of mold in it. They did refund us 100 dollars for the mold. For the money the suite didnt live up to the expectations. The view and area did though. The trail down to the beach is right in front ofnthe condo so its super convenient to walk down there. Plenty of snorkel gear, beach chairs, ice chests. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. There are spices and a little olive oil. They also start you off with a little coffee for the next morning and a bottle of white wine. Amazing sunset over the ocean that we could watch right out our window . Took the path down to hideaway beach and had THE BEST snorkeling experience.. really appreciate that the snorkel gear and cooler were provided ! Fantastic location and we loved taking walks on the beach and around the golf course . Only issue we had was the lock was not working properly but was able to call and speak to someone on person and it was fixed right away. We would definitely return !! ##### Catherine G. Check in was a breeze and the electronic welcome book was a huge help! It had information about farmers markets and more! They even had air conditioning which is uncommon for the islad! The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean. Service was amazing and very easy to contact. I cannot say enough good things!! Theses condos are located right on the edge of the cliff looking out over the ocean with Hanelei bay just to the left. You don’t even have to leave the couch to see the sunset. This apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need including beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, etc…. If we come back to Kauai again no way we are staying anywhere else! ##### Andy B.
