We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. In slower times of the year, for reasons of logistics, we do cluster our guests together, and we also try to keep everyone on the bottom floor. E.g. in winter the stairs may be icy. Local addresses, if not associated with an event in our banquet hall, unfortunately, do to "experience" ask for questioning why you don't stay at your own home. It is our main goal to keep the place as quiet an peaceful as possible. Trucks starting up early in the AM in the Winter to warm up are a fact of life in Northern BC, which being a local, we think you do understand. We are sorry if we made you feel uncomfortable. Our apologies.

Having said that, can you maybe elaborate on why you thought that the treatment of the staff was poor? We do not recall anything unusual about either your check-in or check-out.
