Fantastic location and warm, welcome staff. The view over the pier is magical. Enjoyed our stay, I just wish I could have been longer :)

The location of the Inn is ideal. It’s central to PEI areas you may want to visit. The bay view is very nice too. Better from the upper floor.

The place is welcoming (especially as it was the end of the season) and the evening meals were very good. It's an old hotel but well-maintained. The only downside was that it was warm at night and there was no AC. People in the front of the house were helpful and the restro were excellent.

It was Awesome only thing i found was if someone was in the room above it gets a bit annoying becase foot traffic or other noises moving furniture carries very easily

We recently changed our carpet for hard surface, great for those that like dust free space. We are learning that it did make the building less quiet, hopefully people will respect the fact there are other guest downstairs, we have to wonder what are people dragging stuff around the room for in the middle of the night.

Fantastic holiday!
Any expectation I could have had for this hotel was blown out of the water by the excellent service, view and overall ambiance. I loved it here. The team did a great job of keeping everything spotless. Room was cool during the heatwave and the pool was well kept.

This was a lovely place, room was clean and pretty average with everything we needed, pool and hot tub enjoyable. The restaurant had great food and wonderful view from the patio. We had shrimp and mango curry and seafood chowder. Continental breakfast was excellent with home made muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagals and toast, fresh coffee and she even happily made us a pot of decaf. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a very satisfactory stay, sunset was spectacular.

Everyone at Inn on The Pier was friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff, the waiter, and the chef. The hotel was spotless. Basic continental breakfast - just enough to get your day started. Was too cold and rainy to access the property. Would love to be there in warmer weather to enjoy the back patio and view. Great place to travel from to explore the island. We’d stay again.

We stayed at Inn at the Pier during Hurricane Fiona. Even without power and water the hosts went above and beyond to keep us safe and comfortable. Exceptional service given the circumstances. Beautiful location once the sun came out and the winds died down.

We had a very pleasant & relaxing stay at the inn. It was so clean, comfortable & quiet. We enjoyed a lovely sunset sitting outside on the patio overlooking the scenic bay. We enjoyed an evening of great music performed by a local talent just down the road from the inn. The managers & staff were very friendly & helpful. The inn was in a great location, close to attractions & beautiful beaches. Overall a great value.

The hotel was all right. We ended up spending more time than expected in the rather small hotel room in which only one of the windows was functional because I developed COVID while we were there. The hotel owner was not terribly understanding and was rude to my husband. It's not as though I chose to catch COVID on our holiday. We left early and didn't get any reimbursement, which I do understand due to the last-minute nature of the change, but I feel that the owner could have been nicer about it all.

Right on the water - had a pool. Close to harbour with excellent restaurant. There was a beautiful patio overlooking the water where one could watch the beautiful sun set.

Lovely patio overlooking the ocean at breakfast. Great kayak rentals right on site. Not enough lounge chairs around the pool but the pool is well placed on the property with an ocean view :).

Fantastic stay!!
Fantastic trip and stay!! This hotel was one of the friendliest places I've ever stayed at. The staff was full of information on places to go and things to do and how to get there. It was very clean and we enjoyed our evenings on the back deck watching the water. They even left us use their Grill to cook our fish we caught while deep sea fishing. We even had an Eagle come visit us on our last day to say goodbye.

Friends week in PEI
Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view of the bay is very relaxing and we enjoyed sitting on the deck at night watching the water. We went on a deep sea fishing trip and the hotel allowed us to use their grill to cook our fish. Would definitely stay here again.

A Beautiful Get Away Spot
We stayed here for three nights in October. Most of the town was already closed down for the winter. This place had about a week to go. You wouldn't know it, though, save for the restaurant being closed. He still offered breakfast, cooking for us himself. The service was great, rooms were very comfortable. I can't wait to go back!

I stayed for for a few nights and really appreciated how friendly the staff were. The room and hotel were very clean overall. The Inn has great amenities, though unfortunately the restaurant and water activities had closed for the season by mid September, so I would suggest going during the summer if you are looking for these features. The hot tub and pool were still open, which was a nice way to relax at the end of a day of exploring PEI. It is in a beautiful location just outside of Cavendish.

Comfortable, clean and great location.
We booked this location last minute due to our unwillingness to stay at our reserved hotel once we saw it. The Inn on the Pier did not disappoint. We were given a sea view room. The room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The hosts were accommodating and took care of any needs. Parking was free and abundant. The local area has much to offer. Close to Anne of Green Gables site and tour. Great seafood restaurants nearby. Quaint fishing village and town. Close to Cavendish beach and dunes national park. On our last night we went to the Ross Family Cailihb which was a live show with PEI music step dancing and fun. It was thoroughly entertaining and the two Ross sisters and brother... not to mention mom are an extremely talented and entertaining family. It is a must see. The Inn on the Pier and the location made for a wonderful 4 days. The continental breakfast was very good with fresh cooked scrambled eggs and home baked muffins and amazing cinnamon rolls.
