This establishment has been allowed to deteriorate

Posted 27-Jan-2016
It was very disappointing to see how run down and poorly managed this complex has been allowed to get to. The food court is practically empty, there is no restaurants or buffets, the monorail is not running, nor is the other attractions. The shopping mall has at least one quarter of the stores vacant and, those that remain, are having closing out sales. We were so disappointed with the appearance and poor lighting of the entire complex that we decided not to stay the night, even though we had paid for this. Certainly, with so many other options in a near by area, we will not be returning to the Stateline area! How sad that the owners would allow their investment to drop to such a low level!

Reminded me of the Old Vegas.

Posted 27-Jan-2016
Pros: Very friendly staff, which at 3AM is quite impressive. Great value for the money.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The Hotel is in a complex of three hotels I believe which you can just walk too. The Strip is 30 miles down the road. Has everything you need.
Room was spacious and clean. Water was hot. Nice choice of restaurants. It is not a resort but if you are looking for a nice place with good amenities without having to drive down to the strip you can't beat it.

Not crowded and I know the reason why

Posted 26-Jan-2016
Pros: Not crowded
Cons: All of the above.
If you want a hotel that's not crowded then Buffalo Bills is the place. But...if you like bad service, smelly hotel rooms and no comforts, even for a 2 star hotel, then this is the place for you. Our rooms toilet was not fastened to the floor properly so every time you sat down or got up it rattled and made a loud noise like it was going to tip over. That probably explains the sewage smell that permeates the room. Also our sink was plugged so we had to throw the water into the shower to drain it. We had a king size bed and they gave us 2 small pillows only. The cashier cage only had 1 person working and I had to wait at least 10 minutes to cash in my chips and I was the first person in line. I would not stay here again unless I was desperate.

Not the cleanest place to stay. The beds had no fitted sheet on the mattress. So the sheets moved all over the place. There was a plastic slip under the sheet which made it more uncomfortable. So it was flat sheet, plastic, and mattress. Nothing to protect you from the mattress.

The rooms were terrible I felt like I had to be

Posted 22-Jan-2016
The rooms are terrible after staying there I felt like I had to be deloused. They only have one restaurant in the whole hotel that's open. The other restaurants look like they were closed for good. All the shops were shut down for good. It looks like this hotel is ready to go out of business.

Cons: Hire maids that work.
I had to call the front desk for a new room. The first room was dirty. I think the maids forgot to vacuum and dust. The second room wasn't much better. There were still crumbs on the carpet. The maids need to clean the rooms not just make the beds and put clean towels in the bathroom. Less talking and more working, I was woken up by all the chatter of the maids in the hallway. This was not my first time here. I have been here several times and this was the first time I had to complain.

Sad stay this trip

Posted 16-Jan-2016
Stayed four nights and the bed was never made. Room was never cleaned, and shower took hours to drain water. Very disappointed as I have stayed many times in the past with great results.
