The home was a cute, old traditional Prescott Victorian that had been tastefully updated. It was equipped with everything we’d need. It was within walking distance to the courthouse and downtown. However there was one major drawback, the traffic. It was on an extremely busy and noisy street. Although we couldn’t hear it inside the home, it was very annoying when sitting on the porch. I rented this house with my siblings, then extended the stay for myself while I took care of businesses because our dad had passed. To be able to come to a comfortable place and relax after the stresses of the process was literally a life saver. I could come back and swing on the charming porch swing, reflect and smile. The neighbors near by are super friendly and will introduce themselves. It really did make it feel like a home away from home. To sit and sip coffee, while contemplating what the day might bring, brought down the stress levels. I loved it so much, I stayed another 5 days after my siblings left.
