We’re elderly and I don’t remember seeing anything about a step down into the bathroom. Also the toilet is VERY low and it was difficult to get up with our old knees. Ease to get ahold of owner when had a mishap and the host immediately fixed the issue and answered questions we needed answered. The property was clean and had everything one might need. Awesome property. Super short walk to trails. Super short drive to stores. Great weekend reprive from valley heat. We loved the waterfall which created relaxing sound like being on a river and brought all the birds. The property layout is adorable and unique! Best of all we could bring our little dogs and property is mostly fenced in. One note to d0g owners - the property does connect to the owners home and they have sweet but curious dogs who wanted to see what we were doing every time they were out. They were sweet and well behaved but my dogs didnt love having strange dogs at the fence. We had lovely weather and enjoyed all 3 sitting areas outside as well as peaceful creek. We arrived after dark and all of the lights were on which we appreciated along with all of the amenities. Barbara and Steven were amazing hosts, kind and easy to reach. The place is immaculate and you can sense the love with which it was built. The skylight over the bed was amazing. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate spot out in nature but close enough to town, this is it. The weather wasn't the best to enjoy the outside setup, but this spot would be excellent in the warmer months to grill or simply relax by the little stream and read or have a cup of coffee. They are from a rural area and really enjoyed the quietness and scenery of this location. My mom mentioned how clean the property was as well.
