There are other nearby bathing areas as the famous natural pools of Porto Martins. The apartments are situated just a mere 15 minutes from the airport. The facilities consist of two 2 bedroom apartments fully equipped twins, each with an area of ​​100 square meters. The apartments are located right in the center of Porto Martins, near the Church. Both apartments have a balcony, living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and a bathroom. Around the apartments is an exotic garden piously embellished by the owners. In this garden you can find some of the most typical of the Azores landscape of flowers. The Porto Martins bathing pool is just a short walk. I snorkled in winter with a wet suit, so many fishes!!! Both the Vista Grille and Buzius are great restaurants. There are bus stops at the church and at the recycle station. We did not rent a car, used buses, taxi and tours for the 30 days we were there. Daily walks along the paved trail were a favorite of mine. Make sure you visit local restaurants in villages too The Paulo Gomes and his parents went above and beyond for me.
