This exquisite one-bedroom is one of the most beautiful and special apartments in the picturesque 'Old Town / Stare Mesto' center of Prague. Completely renovated, our 95 sq-meter (1,022 sq-ft) apartment was rebuilt with exclusive designer elegance in mind, mixing high-end, modern amenities with classic features to create a bright, luxurious living space. Overlooking a tranquil cobblestone square in the Josevof quarter of Old Town, you will find yourself walking distance from all major historic and cultural attractions. Old Town Square and Prague's famous Astronomical Clock are only 3 blocks away. Walk through the winding streets of charming Old Town to reach the Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, Municipal House and the Power Gate, all within 10 minutes walk. Prague's historical Synagogues, and elegant Parizska shopping street, are within 5 minutes. Restaurants and cafes abound, as well as bakeries, specialty food stores, and large markets if you choose to cook at home. All the comforts of home, washer-dryer, dishwasher, fully appointed gourmet kitchen, big, beautiful bathroom, fast wireless Wi-Fi, 55" television... There is no 'short-term-stay' feeling to our place, (no Ikea furniture!), and we are proud to share it with discerning guests - this is truly a magical apartment! After a 3-year hiatus hosting film industry guests, we have returned to VRBO holiday rentals in 2023! Same owner, same property manager, many fresh upgrades to the flat. State of the art kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of gourmet meals, featuring high-end european appliances - Siemens convection oven, cooktop, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and built-in stainless steel microwave oven. Caesarstone countertops highlight beautiful Italian cabinetry by Scavolini. Nespresso machine with milk-frother. Master bedroom overlooks a quiet courtyard and features a large open dressing area surrounded by built-in closets and drawers. Heavy curtains provide a dark bedroom for sleeping. Luxurious master bathroom has double sinks, large tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, heated granite floors and heated towel bars. All furniture was custom-built in Italy. New parquet floors. High ceilings, built-in and recessed lighting throughout on dimmers. Internal filtration system purifies and softens all water for drinking and bathing. Bosch washing machine and dryer in separate laundry room. Working elevator to apartment on fourth floor. The apartment is safe and quiet -- the church that faces the living room does not chime its bells. Softly and beautifully lit at night, this church gives our square a picturesque and peaceful ambiance. We email our guests a list of our personal favorite sights, walks and restaurants, both on the beaten path, and off. Our guests can always reach us by email with questions about the property, neighborhood, or for insight or suggestions while planning your holiday. Our local property manager is a UK native who has lived in Prague for 20 years, and additionally offers dependable airport/ train station transfers, and is your personal connection in this magical city. In 2012, our building underwent a complete and meticulous historic renovation. The building itself is now as splendid as the interior of our apartment, freshly brought back to it's original colors and condition, with a beautifully restored foyer, new elevator and restored facade. Not only was the flat spacious and nicely decorated, they provided anything you could possibly need. Maia and David had anticipated your potential needs and provided for those needs. The location is superb near all of Prague's attractions and restaurants. David and Maia were fantastic hosts. David picked us up from the airport on time and showed us around the flat. Maia sent a write-up on the neighborhood, which was helpful. The flat is huge, clean and comfortable. We loved the large bathroom and dressing area. The attention to details were incredible. Everything was provided from the fluffy bath towels to toothbrush, shampoo, soap, coffee and tea. The valet area at the foyer was perfect to take off snow boots and hang up coats. We experienced a small glitch with the breaker tripping, but David arrived within an hour to help. Wonderful flat with fantastic hosts in beautiful Prague! ##### Linda R. It is very clean and well appointed. The location is perfect - just off of Old Town Square and within walking distance to everything. Public transport is also near by if you prefer that. The apartment is gloriously spacious. It is the dream accomodation as it comes equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect, close, but not too close to the old town centre. Location is perfect. Close to everything and in a location that is quiet in the evenings. The building is secure and clean. Feels safe in the area. The apartment has a spacious layout and there is very little ambient noise from the other tenants. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and all you may need for a meal. The bedroom is comfortable and the bathroom is ensuite and large. Maia and David's communication and attention were 100% appreciated and helped make this stay seamless. We weren't ready to leave. It's like home away from home. Thank you for the work you put into making this stay so memorable. 100% recommend and hope to venture back to Prague and work with this team again! ##### Amy H. It is very well equipped, and has a very high specification finish. An open plan layout, with separate zones, for kitchen, dining and lounging and a study area. It is very close to Old Town Square, but the street is pretty quiet, so you get easy access to the bars and restaurants but you don’t hear the late night revellers that I’ve encountered in similar locations on previous visits to Prague. The property manager, David, also picked us up, and returned us to the airport, so excellent service there too. In every way! Don't look anywhere else. Book this! I am amazed that it was available in December. Perfect location to enjoy all of the Christmas markets in three different squares all within easy walking distance from the apartment. Bakeries and restaurants galore within steps from your "home". So much to do and see and all of it so convenient. And yet the apartment itself is amazingly quiet. Very workable space and great having the additional half-bath. Internet super fast and easy to connect with. Television (like every television in the entire world) requires at least three hand held controls to operate. Very helpful instruction book made it a breeze to use. All of the comforts of home. Having David pick us up at the airport and take us directly to the apartment made everything so easy. What a delightful person to have as our first contact in Prague. Very helpful advice from him on the drive in from the airport. He also took us back at the end of our stay. So convenient. And finally the owner, Maia, was the most helpful owner of a VRBO property that I have ever worked with. She was prompt and answered all questions and provided so much helpful information to make our stay perfect. Thank you Maia! Absolutely would stay there again without any doubt.
