This property is in need of a full remodel. However, the staff is super nice, accommodating, and professional. Daily housekeeping. The property upkeep is good. Very interactive staff with good knowledge of the property history. Accommodating your children with easy to understand explanation of the resident fish and birds. Truly a family resort.

The resort its is beautiful and maintained by the staff well. The room we stayed in had a leak from upstairs that saturated part of the carpet which was annoying. The shower temperature fluctuated from cold-burning hot at the same lever point whihc is frankly dangerous for some. The walls were thin and you could hear everything outside your room and those walking around the resort. We also had some teenagers play a prank on our room in the middle of the night by banging on our doors (with do not disturb on) and screaming down the halls. Not the resorts fault for this 1 but a bad experience nonetheless.

This resort has terrific amenities and a stellar location. It needs a serious facelift though. Very dated and shabby in places. The front desk staff was not particularly friendly. The spa is excellent, as is the gym, the restaurant and the bayside location.

Great 3 day weekend stay, food at Oceana was great. Coffee and smoothies at little coffee shop inside hotel was great also. The Greene smoothie was delicious. Will definitely be staying again. Everything was close in walking distance.

Rooms were nothing like advertised! Very outdated room & bathroom….smelt old and musty, dirty bathtub and drain did not work, TV in a horrible spot to the side, and room was extremely over priced!!! Will never stay here again and will not recommend this resort to friends.

Second time staying here. Last time we stayed in a garden room this time we stayed in the tower overlooking the bay. Great views, comfy beds. Our room was large-some furniture was a little worn, but didn't bother us at all. Great hot tub (whoever is in charge of music in that area A ) nice location and we happened to be checking out the day of crazy rain and some flooding in the city-staff was very nice and helpful.

The catamaran was absolutely amazing in so many ways, but there was some room issues that I didn't love. We did a couples massage at the spa - it was so relaxing and efficient - my deep tissue massage was so great! The spa bathroom and steam room was my favorite. However, Our room shower was so poor, it was loose at the faucet hookeup and would shake and make a loud noise every 30 seconds or so. The TV had a supposed casting ability but it wasn't connected to the WiFi and we couldn't figure it out so ended up watching boring cable. The beds, balcony and cleanliness of our lil kitchenette and double queen bed room was so awesome, I just wish I didn't have the shower and tv issues. The property was gorgeous, exclusive bay access and a nice restaurant with room service! The room service was so amazing that it was dangerous lol we wanted to order it a ton. I absolutely loved the open lobby with the beautiful wildlife and little ponds. I was so happy with so many things at this resort, but I don't want to have to travel with a laptop just to watch TV. I wanted to use the spa instead of use our bad shower and felt like it could have been way better in our room.

Really enjoyed the stay at the Catamaran Hotel. We stayed next to the pool and was easy to walk to around the beautiful grounds. Great location and less than a 3 min walk to the beach. Only issue was that some of hot water ran at out times and the shower head had about half the nozzles plugged but this didn’t impact the overall stay which was great!

Property and location is great! Service was excellent. Rooms could use a renovation. My only issue was that I was in the hallway behind the front desk. Anytime a door closed, most often the front office door, it SLAMMED shut. So loud and it echoed down the hall. I laid in bed for about an hour and heard a door slam shut over 25 times. They could really use new doors that don’t slam shut. Also, one of the employees whistles at night. It’s pretty loud as the rooms are not so insulated.

Resort Facilities are great especially when you are with family such as pool, free arcade, easy access to beach Builds and rooms are quite out dated and old. So felt it was expensive for overall quality. They had extra resort and parking per day which was approx $90 per day
