The large sliding glass doors in the living room open up to the private sun terrace, furnished with outdoor furniture, sun loungers, a sun shade and a barbecue. Secure car parking is available just in front of the house. The two storey building, built in 1900, has only recently been renovated (2016) and furnished as a luxury holiday rental. The 80 m² house boasts an open plan living/dining room, a fully loaded kitchen, four bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The living room is located on the ground floor and is furnished with two cosy sofas and two leather armchairs, a wall mounted flat screen television and a dining table and four chairs. There is also a fireplace, offering a cosy atmosphere on cooler days. The adjacent, modern, white kitchen offers a dish washer, a ceran stove with an exhaust hood, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. A staircase leads to the top floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with two 90 x 200 cm single beds, which can be combined to make a double. The other two bedrooms are furnished with a 160 x 200 cm double bed. The white, tiled bathrooms boast a shower tub or a shower, a sink with a mirror, a hairdryer, a bidet and a toilet. A child's cot and high chair are available. Firewood, towels, bedding and Wi-Fi are included in the rental price. Upon request, bicycle rental is available. The villa is about 10 km from a sandy beach (Praia de Fogo). It is 750 m to Furnas, with its shops, a colourful market, cafes and restaurants.
