Waking up to Beautiful views and scenery. Very quiet and relaxing. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Absolutely loved my stay and would recommend it.

3 night stay
Stay was OK. Good location for us. Plenty to do on Nepean Peninsula. Unfortunately, they were refitting carpet above our room and working noise started too early. Carpets generally were in need of upgrading in places, and dust over top of tissue box in room gave impression of not being clean. Was not clear about use of parts of complex eg. access to Spike bar for food. Lighting in corridors to rooms was a bit dated and very dull. Lock on patio door was not working and although the golf course view was great, there was evidence of rubbish in the bush below the rooms.

Dated day core, out of the way to any eateries, no shuttle bus, no pool, no spa No extras in the room that looked out onto nothing not even the golf course If u don’t play golf we would say do not book We think there r other places in the same area that offer more

The property was very nice but, our room was beside the golf cart garage and so was quite noisey early in the morning and in the afternoon. Out courtyard was shared with 3 rooms so had people walking by our window. Milk in fridge was open when we arrived, TV had an issue but fixed quickly, and initially keys didn’t work. But again was fixed quickly. Little dissapointed given our last stay was better and had views of the golf course.

The property was clean and neat, bed was very comfortable. Downside was the walk from the carpark to the room was quite far and steep. Room was small with no views at all. Bathroom was clean and tidy but small also.

The walk up to the building from the car park is quite steep for walkers; I would have liked to see stairs to make the climb easier. But the reception staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Peaceful and quiet hotel located within a golf club. Nice room, view over the course and the bay in the distance. Easy drive to Portsea and not at all far from Sorrento.

Byo a pillow is a must ( lucky we read reviews and brought them) Bed was horrible to sleep on definitely need new ones, carpets very dirty overall movies on demand were the only thing we enjoyed. Wouldn't stay again.

Unfortunately the Restaurant wasn't open for our evening meal on Monday night so we had to go elsewhere in the town centre. Otherwise we had a lovely view overlooking the golf course.

Room was comfy and cafe in golf club was nice for coffee. Views were nice from room. Disappointed with the rooms as walls are paper thin. We did not get any sleep as the room next to us was up till 1am and then we listened to them snoring the entire night.

Breakfast and lunch are available daily, the clubhouse bar is open until 6pm most evenings and Thursday until 7pm. We do offer a grazing platter as an onsite dining option for our inhouse guests. Offsite dining is available in Portsea and in Sorrento, only a five minute drive from our site. We do hope you will visit us again at the Mercure Portsea for a more enjoyable stay. Very nice rooms and views. Worst thing is Golf Club closes at 6:00 pm quite ridiculous as you are not wanting to drive anywhere for dinner etc when there are facilities for catering etc.
