Lovely stay
Very comfortable apartment in a friendly neighborhood. Trevo coffee shop and chaurrasqueira paraiso for dinner— both excellent food and friendly service! Beautiful cathedral nearby. Barbara is a great hostess and easy to communicate with.

Lovely flat, great location
A really nice place, a host quick to respond to the one minor problem we had, a great location. Three metro stations within minutes walk to get you just about anywhere. Good, honest, fairly priced food in any number of restaurants nearby.

Great Porto Apartment
We had a wonderful time at this Porto apartment. The location is perfect for sightseeing (a few minutes walk from the main attractions). The garden is an added bonus for days where you just want to relax. The host was very responsive and the check-in/check-out was smooth.

Beautiful apartment. and close to everything!
Visited Porto with my husband and loved every minute of our stay. The apartment is beautiful and efficient. Has everything you need to enjoy homecooked meals and to relax. The shower is powerful and has good hot water and the beds comfy. The garden area is a plus for meals outside. There is an Indian restaurant around the corner that is fantastic (a hole in the wall, and not much to look at, but delicious). We went three times during our 7 day stay! Also a fresh market across the street for bread, cheese and wine. You can walk downtown to all the sites. Didn't figure out the metro, but Uber is sooo cheap we didn't have to. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable apartment in Porto
Clean, and comfortable apartment in Porto. Only thing that could have been better is the wood in the bathroom door was warped so it hits against the floor when you try to open it. Overall a very nice apartment in a local neighborhood. About 10min walk to get into the stuff you'll want (good coffee, etc.)

Pretty, comfortable and well-decorated apartment
We had a great stay at this apartment. It is very-well kept, very clean and nicely decorated. It has a washer, iron, hair dryers. The kitchen has all necessary items. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood, with a market right in front of it. I do not recommend taking a car, it is very difficult to park. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent base to discover the delights of Porto city and the Douro region. A home away from home.
The property is a great space and easily accommodates 4 people especially with 2 bathrooms. The apartment is in a beautiful traditional Portuguese building and has the advantage of access to a private garden which is ideal to relax and recharge after a busy day out sightseeing. Located just 100 meters from the metro station it has excellent transport links and only takes 30 mins from the airport. Takes about 10 mins to walk into the central areas of Porto. Highly recommend this apartment as a great base for a stay in Porto.

Wonderful host and apartment
Barbara met us at the apartment and went through the house. She suggested places to eat and things to see/do. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and stylish. The location is great and easy to get anywhere. Barbara arranged for our ride to the airport. I would highly recommend and stay there again next time I am in Porto.

Loved this condo
I highly recommend this condo Very clean, well supplied, great mattress, wonderful shower Location in not in the centre which means it is quiet There is a very efficient metro 2 minutes from the door; buy a 10 ride ticket pack if there for a few days My only suggestion for improvement is that they should release the details Re the address of the condo sooner than just 11 days before arrival so that other arrangements, tours that need an address up front for example, can be planned Thank you Barbara for renting to us !

Lovely, bright, clean, modern apartment
I stayed for close to two weeks in February. The apartment was large, clean, modern and comfortable. It had pretty much everything I needed, was well stocked with basics, and had quality dishware and cook ware. There's small grocery shop right across the street that was nearly always open, and several restaurants nearby. Very quiet in the evenings, but a short easy 10 minute walk to the city center. I would definitely stay again. I was just sorry it wasn't warmer while I was here so I could enjoy the nice outdoor area.

Location, comfort, hospitality!
The location was perfect - steps away from the Faria Grimaraes metro station which connects to the major metro hubs in Porto yet in a quiet and peaceful area at night. The apartment was impeccably clean and well appointed with wonderful beds and linens. Barbara's assistant, Marcia was "hands on" with answers to any questions we had. Along with the well deserved accolades for this apartment, we would like to share some info for future visitors - especially from the USA. If you book your reservation for this apartment using a major US credit card, make sure your CC company does not charge for foreign transactions as you will be charged for these fees upon your booking. Although the apartment, as stated, is on the "first floor" - it is not on the ground floor. There are stairs to climb. The building has beautiful wood planked floors throughout including the apartment we stayed in. You will hear your neighbor upstairs on their wood planked floors. If you plan to "eat in" - keep in mind the kitchen has a "cook-top" - no oven. Only a microwave. We love Porto and the Portuguese people! We will definitely return to this wonderful country. Loved the outdoor deck. Great amenities we used the washers to do some wash. Air conditioning in each room. Kitchen had great equipment. Close to the metro but only a 20 minutes walk downhill to the downtown area of Porto. Can’t recommend this place enough

Holiday in a big historical City
We can recommend the appartement for a city holiday. Our impression was the size was max 80 qm, not 120 qm. There was a wardrobe only in one of the bedrooms, not so comfortable for 4 adults. The first 3 nights we had a noisy neightbour, but we could solve that problem. Air condition,dishwasher,refrigerator and washingmachine worked very good.

Better than we expected even!
Beautifully furnished, well-equipped and with a lovely little garden and terrace - we really enjoyed staying at this apartment. Even the facade - a former bakery - is stunning. The store just opposite sells just about everything and stays open long hours while the Casa do Paraiso 2 restaurant, also opposite, was our favourite eatery during the entire week we stayed in Portugal. Delicious traditional food, informal and friendly - one tip though, try to book one of the few ground floor tables. It's an easy walk to the centre and downhill all the way while the metro station is literally just round the corner. The only very slight negative was some road noise due to the traffic lights outside if you keep the bedroom windows open. We'd certainly book this place again on a return trip to Porto.

Aangenaam appartement!
Mooi appartement dat goed gelegen is om de stad bezoeken. Wandelafstand, dichtbij metrohalte, goede kruidenier aan de overzijde, bankautomaat vlakbij. Nadelen: dichtbij een kruispunt met veel stilstaand verkeer (lawaai, uitlaatgassen), je hoort ook alle voetstappen van de bewoners op het bovenliggende appartement. Appartement zelf is heel mooi en aangenaam met de nodige voorzieningen. Goede bedden, wel smal voor twee personen. Super gastvrij onthaal door Marcia, die snel ingaat op bijkomende vragen of wensen! Zeker aan te raden voor een verblijf om Porto te verkennen.
