There isn't much in the immediate area . Ideal for short stays. The service provided by Raul and Diogo was outstanding. They were so helpful and accomodating to anything we needed. While I found the staff to be very polite and helpful, I must express that we were quite unhappy the first night. However, Diogo went above and beyond to accommodate us by changing our room, for which we are grateful. That said, I feel it’s important to note that while the hotel is listed as a 4-star establishment, in my opinion, it does not meet the standards even of a 3-star rating. I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this great hotel in Porto! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The room was modern, clean, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet. The location was perfect, within walking distance of many attractions. The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast which was not as shown on the hotel website, ie a buffet. I was informed that the buffet had been withdrawn very recently and replaced with a paper bag containing a paltry carton of fruit juice, an apple and tiny custard tart , a bottle of water and literally the smallest roll I’ve ever seen! It was like a button !! I asked for more food as my partner is diabetic and that was embarrassing. I mentioned all of this in the hotel website review option stating that a hotel which called itself a boutique four star establishment should be ashamed at how they had let themselves down by such a mean spirited and frankly mean display of cost cutting at its worst. My partner and I returned for a final night at the end of our holiday to find that the paper bags has been replaced by little baskets with two rolls instead of one which is a step in the right direction! They need to bring back the buffet breakfast immediately!
