Located in a prime area of Porto, you will find everything you need around you. Ideal for a getaway for two, families, busy professionals, or a weekend retreat. For your convenience, this apartment features an elevator and air conditioning. The Space: You will have at your disposal a duplex apartment with 2 en-suite bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, a living room with a sofa bed, flat-screen TV, cable channels, Wi-Fi, and a dining table, a very well-equipped compact kitchen with tasteful utensils, and a bathroom. (This apartment does not have a sea view). Guest Access: Guests have full access to the apartment. The Neighborhood: The apartment is located in a building in Foz do Douro, a coastal area known for its sandy beaches, such as Praia da Luz and Praia do Ourigo, as well as eclectic restaurants serving both international and Portuguese cuisine. Foz Market offers traditional Porto food and products, and the area is full of luxury clothing boutiques and art galleries. Take advantage of the fantastic waterfront where you can walk, bike, swim at the beach, or simply enjoy the sun on a seaside terrace. For those looking for a more cultural visit, don’t worry. Our apartment is just a 10-minute drive from downtown Porto and close to all public transport options. If you don't have a car, don't worry—you can use the bus network located just 1 minute on foot from your apartment. Install our "Liiiving" app for more suggestions (available for Android and iOS). Getting Around: You can request our transfer service whenever you need it (please consult us for the price). There is an extensive public transport network at your disposal. The airport is 15 minutes by car. Other Things to Note: In order to make Porto more attractive, the municipal tourism tax has been implemented. The fee of €3.00 included in the price of the stay applies to guests over 13 years old. It is charged per person and per night, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights (conditions subject to change by local legislation at the time of booking and/or check-in). There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g., smell of smoke, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), a minimum fee of €200 will be charged for smoking. If you wish for a late check-out, please contact our team to check availability. After the check-out time without authorization, a fee of €200 per hour will be charged. If you lose the key, a cost will be charged (upon consultation). If you leave the keys inside the apartment and need our team’s intervention to open the door, a cost of €40 will be charged after 7 PM. If the key is forgotten in the door lock (technical intervention required) – fee upon consultation. For reservations of 28 nights or more, we have a limit on water, electricity, and the internet/television package of €190\. If this amount is exceeded, the guest will pay the additional costs. The tenant agrees, whenever requested by the host, to allow entry of a representative for property inspections, with monthly visits planned for this purpose. We have a transfer service that will drop you off at the apartment! You just need to request it (please consult us for the price). You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast, which can be delivered to your apartment every morning upon request (please consult us for prices). The property management company was fantastic and provided great communication. The property is steps away from the waterfront which has a fantastic path to walk along the water. There are also plenty of options steps away for groceries, coffee and restaurants all within walking distance. There is also public transportation within steps and the UBER system in Porto was great and quick. The interior of the property was well appointed, very large spaces, three showers and large kitchen area. On our first day, we UBER'd to the Bolsa Palace and from there you can walk to most the primary attractions, as well as the Riberia do Porto and across the foot bridge to Gaia.
