The apartment is located on the ground floor. The living room is tastefully furnished and well-kept, with a sitting area, a TV to watch all your favourite shows and a dining table. It is also generously lit, perfect for sharing moments with your group. Step outside and enjoy the magnificent views of the Douro River on the balcony with outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco dining. The kitchen includes top-of-the-range appliances, essential cookware, and cutleries that will fulfil your culinary requirements. Plus, there is a washer available for your laundry needs. Both bedrooms have queen beds with complimentary hotel-quality linens. The two bathrooms have all the amenities you will need to freshen up, including clean towels and toiletries for your convenience. The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. Enjoy your stay! Guests will have access to the entire home! We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. Porto is a coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production. In the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes. São Francisco Church is known for its lavish baroque interior with ornate gilded carvings. The palatial 19th-century Palácio de Bolsa, formerly a stock market, was built to impress potential European investors. The property is easily accessible by public transport and car. The nearest bus stop, EDP, is just a 1-minute walk. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 17-minute drive from the property. Before your check-in, we will send you your check-in options and where to pick up the keys. Please note that personal check-in with a concierge costs 10€, pending availability. We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. Also we loved having the convenient garage for our car right underneath. It was an easy forty min flat pleasant walk along the river to the city river front and a five euro taxi ride or very close bus stop to get in. There was nothing not to like! It was amazing! If you like a quiet, safe, spacious apartment away from all the tourist attractions, this is the place for you. We had a car and toured the area (Douro Valley, Braga, Aveiro), so underground parking was really important for us. The location is close to all the major motorways. You can reach the historic old part of Porto by bus or taxi within minutes. The kitchen is well equipped. The TV was not working for a few days, but the management sorted it out. They communicated well. There are no restaurants or supermarkets close by. Overall we enjoyed the apartment and evenings sitting on the balcony. There were no written instructions in the apartment about how to use the appliances, i.e. coffee maker, washer/dryer, AC units. There was no information about the neighborhood; where were the closest markets, cafes, which bus to take to get into the historic district, etc. I suppose the assumption is that everything can be found on-line. One of the selling points of the apartment is the deck looking over the Duoro river. Many of the deck board should be replaced. Some, not all, were very wobbly & soft. In addition, the glass door that led to the deck was filmy, dirty & streaked which was most obvious first thing in the morning when the sun was shining in. The management company was responsive when I had a question which was appropriated. But all in all, I can't highly recommend this place. Tiene calefacción central pero esta no funciona como calefacción, solo la hacen servir para el agua sanitaria. La calefacción se obtiene porque tb tienen equipos de aire acondicionado con bomba de calor. Lo que sí es deficients es la luz que tienen en el comedor, por la noche es igual que estar SIN luz literalment, tuvimos que poner una lámpara de una habitación para poder cenar y hacer la sobre mesa El resto todo muy bien.
