Small grocery and general purpose shops in next blicks and great tapas bar across the road. Is in busy area but double glazed and must be sound proofed as never disturbed. Location was superb, with the balcony overlooking the Sé Cathedral. Was on a busy street, but unable to hear the traffic noise when doors and windows were closed. Close to the metro, and walkable to many great locations. On the fifth floor, but accessible by elevator, when other tenants actually remembered to close the elevator door fully (otherwise didn’t always work - a sign might be helpful). Apartment was well equipped and well laid out, with a great sofa, that actually had arms! Comfortable mattress and bedding. Washing machine and dishwasher very much appreciated. And if it doesn't work is quite annoying to go up and down. This is a nice flat in a fantastic location. Do not expect hotel amenities or convenience, for example you have to pre-arrange check in and there is no daily cleaning. However, we had a spacious suite with a separate living area and kitchen. Everything was brand new and very clean. Unfortunately, the A/C is only in the living room, but, on request, they brought us two fans to circulate the air and cool the bedroom off as well.
