Our family really (2 adults + 3 kids) needed a vacation. Vila Chã and Casa Serena met all our expectations. Good furnished house in a small village where live only kind people. Just step to the ocean.

One of kind place just a few feet from the waves crashing against the beach,!!
You won't be able to find a place like this, because it's not allowed to be this close to the ocean, so book it know before it fills up, totally remolded, and an actuall true hot shower that lasts, without going cold on you, an extreme rarity in Portugal to have a hot shower with out it turning cold on you, you will always cherish the photos taken here and the memories of tranquility will last a lifetime!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin by the sea. It had all the amenities we required and the hosts were generous with their time and also provided a nice bottle of port. We would definitely stay again and would recommend.

For the 4 of us it was a really good week, our first time to the area and we really enjoyed the whole experience. We were made most welcome and comfortable, and we enjoyed being one of the "locals' for a week.

Casa Serena
The joys of Casa Serena literally extend on many fronts. The house is well equipped with all that is needed. The comfort of the house goes hand in hand with its majestic location. Its location is magical in that it captures the wild, rugged and untamed beauty of the coast and the seascape. To fall asleep and wake to the sound of the breaking wave is a simple joy to behold. The majestic sunsets are often magnified by the atmospheric haze where the light casts shadows on the waves and the headlands are like silhouettes in the salt charged air against a glowing ember sky. The traditional fishing boats that are moored on the beach gives the village its cultural signature. The lives of its people are inevitably shaped and controlled by the sea.Within a week it's character becomes familiar and it won't take long for you to greet and be greeted with a "bom dia". The hosts, from start to finish, were helpful & welcoming. From Wales with love we bid you a fond farewell. Obrigado.

My dream house.
Lovingly restored fishermans cottage right on the beach...for us heaven. Delightful village, with its colourful fishing fleet of 9 boats kept us occupied all day every day. 8 steps from the front door to the cafe and morning coffee and portuguese tarts....and if you like fish the days catch BBQ'd as you order. 13 steps to the sand from the back door and windows on 3 sides to keep an eye on the fish sales and fishermans cats, who supervise the seagulls as the catch is unloaded. The house has everything, including the most comfortable lounge , to relax and listen to the incoming tide. Our hosts friendly and most helpful. We loved this cottage, and left reluctantly when our week was up.
