Foi reservado 2 quartos com 2 camas de solteiro cada um, na chegada ao quarto, era 1 cama de solteiro e 1 cama menor que uma cama de solteiro, além do quarto ter cheiro de tinta. Não recomendo os quartos standart desse hotel.

The restaurant in the hotel is good, so you don't need to go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don't want. Also, there are some dinning options around the hotel. The room was clean but it could be cleaner. But it is still above the average. It is close to the American consulate and the area is safe considering Porto Alegre is a big city.

On Aug 8 I went to the hotel to ask them to hold the reservation, the guest will postpone check in to Aug 11 instead of Aug 9. The attendant confirmed the reservation is maintained and check in moved to Aug 11. On Aug 11 the guest arrived and the reservation was unavailable, it had been cancelled. She had to make a new reservation on the spot and paid directly. I demand reimbursement of the amount I paid through Orbitz!

OK for short business trip
The service overall was OK, the hotel is well located and the rooms are really spacious. May need some renovation at least in the tower I stayed and there was a compressor noise next to my room, which was a little annoying but not impossible to bear. Ok for a short business trip and good cost-benefit ratio

There was no place to sit other than a secretary chair that had rollers that didn't roll. We had to use the ironing board as a suit case rack. We had to ask for extra pillows twice before we got them. The breakfast bar ran out of food. The bar was suppose to be open from 3-11. Not! For 2 days. We will be looking for another place to stay on our next visit.

Air conditioner leaks into room, causing mold/mildew. Dial up speed internet. HORRIBLE food and a “bar” that only carried 2 beers and nothing else. Dining area open when staff felt like it. Charged for early check in when Hotel was informed twice I would be coming in early. Mandatory valet parking. Hotel looks NOTHING like the pictures on Expedia. Maybe it looked like that brand new, but not now.

Good hotel, better than I expected, room was of a higher standard than the Novotel I stayed at down the road. For evening restaurants there are a few options in the area but better to hop in an Uber or taxi.

Big spaces
I was there on a long business trip. On wekends I spend more time in the room and was tired of small spaces. A friend recomend me this hotel because it have bigger rooms. And he was right. It have an area with the bed and a divider with a dest, a sofa and a chair. Big TV. Is old hotel but well maintained. It have a bar that during the weekend have no one sitting there. The location is in an business office area, so there is a lot of lunch (not dinner) options during the week, but very limited during the weekend. There is a chain grocery store walking distance that help with that problem. There is plenty public transportation options in the area and is very close to the POA airport. Breakfast is good.

Porto Alegre Stay
The hotel is located on a main street so a bit of traffic in the morning and evening, even with this the rooms are quiet, the front deck staff is very helpful with the added benefit that the front deck staff speaks Spanish and English, the breakfast is good enough to get the day started, the hotel offers a buffet for lunch and dinner. Utilized the gym during my stay a bit of maintenance on the gym equipment would be nice. Whether arranging for a taxi, calling a taxi or using Uber is not a problem.

Trying This Holiday Inn for the First Time
There was noise from AC Units from other rooms coming into my room even though my unit was off and my windows were closed, it was annoying. Food was fair but expensive in the restaurant.

Noisy hotel
I knew the hotel was not fancy, but the air-conditioning was right in front of the bed, hence very uncomfortable, and I either froze or melted; the television's sound was of poor quality with some static-like noise and very few channels; the room was next to a machines-room, and there was a constant roaring noise, plus a night when I had to call reception because drunk guests kept shouting and fighting in the hall (reception was quick to respond, though). All in all, I could not sleep and rest at night.

Experiência ruim
Chegamos no hotel no meio de uma tempestade forte (noite de 16/1). Liguei para avisar que chegaríamos próximo da meia noite, por conta de todo o transtorno de deslocamento em POA e, quando chegamos, entramos na garagem mas não fomos ao subsolo por receio de estar alagado. O atendente foi ríspido nesses dois momentos. Ficamos esperando bastante tempo para encontrarem nossa reserva e quarto (sendo que o checkin online já estava feito). Nos alocaram em um quarto que estava usado: roupa de cama revirada, toalhas no chão etc. Tivemos que pedir um novo quarto e não nos foi dada explicação ou pedido desculpas pelo transtorno. De manhã, o atendimento na recepção foi muito melhor, mas não acho que voltaremos a nos hospedar aqui.
