Stay was wonderful they even checked us in early first room had a clogged toilet. They moved us to the next. Both rooms look like the bed was made in a giant hurry. Definitely not the quality of years gone by ,They definitely need to do some updating and fix things .toilet was rocky though we might fall off..

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was only there for the evening so didn’t utilize the restaurant or the shopping but it is in a very convenient location. The hotel was quiet even though it is right next to the freeway. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Room not made up daily. Multiple times fitted sheets were improperly put on beds. Heard floor noises from upstairs late into the night.

Desk staff was excellent. Helpful, friendly, welcoming! Shuttle service roundtrip from and to the airport was greatly appreciated. Saved me two Uber rides or having to ask a colleague to do it. Also driver was friendly and efficient. - My first morning the restaurant was closed for breakfast. I had to walk around and find something open at 7:30am so I could eat before starting a full day of meetings. When selecting hotels, I often look for complimentary breakfast service. .My co-worker recommended the Monarch, so I wanted to try it. Plus, the airport shuttle seemed like an advantage. However, you should consider that the Marriot right across the street offers continental breakfast.

Property shows wear. Room smelled like a former smoking room. Bed linens and furniture were newer but room had not been painted and bathroom was not updated. Desk attendant did not make eye contact and was unfriendly. Smokers congregate at the entrance to the hotel and you have to walk through smoke every time to enter and exit the hotel. Would never stay again

Our apologies to you. We had a leak in our roof which went into the 3rd floor hallway. This was caused by the excessive rain and ice storm we recently had. We are in the process of repair. You should have not been put in a room which had not been cleaned and you should not have been placed on the 3rd floor.. Your comments are taken seriously,

The restaurant in the hotel was awesome, staff were super great, room was of a high standard. So I would go back and stay for sure. But….. know it’s trivial, but charging $2 for a cup of coffee seemed a bit jarring as it is such a standard foyer freebie in every other hotel I’ve been to.

Time for an Update
The location and restaurant is great but the rooms are very outdated. It’s time for an update & remodel of bedding, curtains, and especially bathroom. But it’s walkable and has decent food. The staff is very friendly.

Great stay overall
Amazing service. Such kind, respectful people. De Fuego had a great happy hour and The Underground.....oh my gosh our dinner was incredibly delicious. Plus fun entertainment! We had a memorable night. The hotel itself is very pretty with some beautiful features, especially the outside water features. It's outdated which I can handle but our bathroom was dirty looking. I think our bathtub could have been cleaned so that it would be white instead of brownish. Lots of little cleaning details that needed to be taken care of which would have made a huge difference. We will very likely go back if we are in the area again.

Wonderful location
great central location for our trip.. we ate breakfast at the hotel each morning and the food and service were superior. Surprised the restaurant was not busier, but we ate at about 9:30 so perhaps we were just later than most

They had holiday parties which left no parking for guests staying at the hotel. It was terrible I circled the parking lot for 45 minutes trying to get parking. Even having handicap parking didn’t help. When I asked about it the woman was downright rude to me. As far as the room, there was no microwave, we had to call because we couldn’t get the shower to turn on. Compared to our October stay this would be a one to a ten. I think come March we will try the Marriott.

Unplanned Thanksgiving safe place
Ended up having to stay here over Thanksgiving since our family was sick. Had to stay a week. It was great to be so close to everything. Even Mt Talbert was a great nature walk so close by. They had an incredible Thanksgiving meal and the downstairs Speakeasy was so cute! Such nice people took care of us all week.

Even though the towels and washclothes were fraded and the cold water facet leaked, all in all it was a good value for the money and less than 2 miles from our kids house. So we enjoyed our stay and they were great at making sure we had a room that my disabeled husband to navigate to just fine.
