The unit has its own entrance in the back of our home with a private seating area that looks out over the river. The suite has LR/kitchen area (Queen sofa bed), one bedroom with King size bed and one bath with shower. Home is located 10 minute walk from downtown Kennebunk. The Kennebunk beach is a 4.5 mile drive. Portland is a 30 minute drive. Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks and enjoy time on the river. We have a dock for easy access, though water levels can vary depending on the season and rainfall, so launching may not always be ideal directly from the dock. There were kayaks, beach chairs, a soft cooler, beach towels and even a parking pass. Michelle really thought of everything! The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was dark and quiet. The accommodations were perfect! Very neat, clean and convenient with all the comforts of home. (The bed was especially comfortable!) It was obvious to us that much heart and attention to detail went into making this property very warm and welcoming. Although someone does live upstairs it was very private and quiet.
