It was beautiful inside and out. We loved that it had a full size fridge with a freezer, a stove with an oven, a microwave and a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans and utensils. It made our meal preparations easier with these options. The property management team was onsite building additional buildings, but they were not a distraction for us. They did stop and ask how we were enjoying our stay when we were on a walk of the property. They were very friendly. We did not get to enjoy the activities at the beach due to the weather, but it had a beautiful view and can see that being a huge asset in the summer. I personally would have preferred an additional light in the bathroom for the shower. I would also prefer some blinds or curtains for all the windows, especially with people building on site and local homes nearby, but these are not things that will deter us from booking again. The hosts were easy to communicate with and were very friendly. They reached out during our stay to see how our trip was going and to offer some itinerary ideas if we were in need of things to do. Our only trouble was with gps. The address is in Porterfield, but our gps was pulling the location under Marinette. We brought our own firewood (not our first mini vaca lol) but there is a gentlemen about a mile or so down the road selling tons of firewood.We will definitely be booking this location again in the future! Great for a couple or family. It’s brand new, and it was unfortunately a little smelly. The oven was brand new, and needs to be used for a while to get rid of the chemical smell it off gasses during use. It’s also all brand new pine inside, and that left quite a bit of smell.
