Beach Front Home On Cape San Blas A $250 credit toward any amount of Beach Gear is available for this home. When you book Selah by the Sea you can now get Beach Gear delivered directly to the home. All you need to do is select your gear, and we'll have it delivered to you the day of your arrival! This offer applies for 3-14 night reservations only. As you pull up to Selah by the Sea, you are greeted by the beautiful blue water of the Gulf of Mexico and your private boardwalk to the sugar white sand of Cape San Blas. The shade covered area has a large gas grill, an outdoor shower, and your own private splash pool. As you enter the foyer, you have the option of using the full service elevator. At the next level, you are in an open floor plan. You have the comfortable furnished living room, welcoming dining room, and a well equipped gourmet kitchen. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, reverse osmosis water purification, stainless farm style sink, quartz counter tops, and an island with comfortable seating for two. Down the hall is a bathroom for convenient access to this level. There is a covered deck that spans the whole width of the house and overlooks the beach. The deck is furnished with comfortable Adirondack deck furniture for your enjoyment. The 2nd floor has a queen and king master bedroom that are complete with two beautiful master baths. Each of these masters have full length glass patio doors which open onto another furnished and covered deck with goes across the width of the house. Down the hall is a full-size washer and dryer. On the 3rd floor, you are greeted with another king master bedroom and bath. There is another living room that has a queen sleeper sofa. Adjacent to this living room is a snack room with coffee maker, refrigerator, and ice maker. The fifth bathroom is also on this floor, as well as the last sleeping area with twin over twin bunk beds. The master bedroom and second living area also have a gulf front balcony. This home is stylish, comfortably decorated and furnished, and meticulously maintained. Bringing a baby or toddler? Extremely easy and quick access onto the beach. The elevator servicing all floors was hugely useful for luggage, groceries and the weak knees of a couple of our elderly family members. Heating and cooling are zoned which worked perfectly, huge hot water heater - 9 people showering, doing laundry & dishes and we never lacked hot water! I truly believe this home is located on the best section of the beach and Peninsula - sunrises and sunsets were outstanding. Perfect accommodations - beds, furniture, appliances, cookware, BBQ grills, everything was great and we can’t wait stay here again! The pool was an excellent place to cool off, small but effective. The porches, wow, absolutely wonderful. Being so close to the beach was fantastic! Sitting on the porch felt like you were on the beach. The top porch was our favorite place at night. We got some beautiful pictures of the milkway over the ocean. The location on the cape is wonderful! The last step on the stairs to the beach drops down 2-3 feet and we reported to the Coastal Joe and they responded almost immediately that they would bring to attn of owner to address. In the meantime, we had kind neighbors that let my parents use their boardwalk to get to the beach. The house was great and very clean. Beds were all very comfortable. Dishwasher door is about to fall off, cabinet with trashcans doesn't close, the kitchen wasn't clean. They delivered a new coffee maker because both were growing mold/mildew inside. The one upstairs is still nasty. Lots of mildew on doors and vents in upstairs bathrooms. We were really disappointed in the trash cans outside being full and not be able to use them until after trash pickup on Monday when we arrived Saturday. The pool was another disappointment. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is finished and furnished very nicely, even the sheets were of high quality. The deck furniture on each level was appreciated. This home is in a special location because you see primarily the dunes of Rish Park as you look north. The views from each floor are fantastic and sunset watching is a nightly must. The kitchen is very well stocked and it was so nice to have a water filter. There are many thoughtful touches such as games and puzzles provided in the tv cabinet. This was our first time renting a home on the Cape with an elevator. It was super helpful for moving in and groceries. The home was very clean on our arrival. We noticed a couple of minor items that needed attention such as loose towel hooks and some light bulbs that were out. Coastal Joe sent someone over the same day. The Coastal Joe staff are fantastic to work with. They are all very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Thank you to Mary, Holly, and Britney at Coastal Joe. Reviewer Comments: The house was just beautiful and the owner clearly put a lot of thought into making it very special. A partially shaded pool, private boardwalk to the beach, a filtered water faucet in the kitchen, extra comfortable beds and linens, well stocked kitchen (nice quality pots, pans and even an air fryer), etc. A very kind welcming gift. Best of all? Sweeping views of the water from virtually every window. The pics don't fully capture how amazing the views are from all over the main floor (as well as the bedrooms). Our visit was extra special as we had 6 baby loggerheads find their way into the pool. Someone left their house lights on behind us and confused them (they mistook the lights for the moon and headed away from the ocean). SO we got to save the little guys and work with Turtle Patrol to "rescue" a few more. A very special experience. We've been coming to the Cape for about 20 years--and this is one of the best parts of the beach. The Rish Park is to your right--so there is almost no one on that stretch of beach. Very peaceful and private. In conclusion, we very much enjoyed Selah by the Sea and would highly recommend it. We will definitely come back. The home’s layout is perfect, the elevator allows for easy mobility and the walk to the beach is provided by a boardwalk that dead ends into the sand with no steps up and down. The fourth bedroom is really a loft area with a pullout sofa bed and bunkbed area, but very adequate for any guest. Suggest you rent a beach wheelchair to transport guests with mobility problems to the shoreline, we did and the task was easy.The kitchen layout is perfect, home is comfortable, well decorated and generally very clean. The location is perfect right on the beach with easy steps to the gulf and gorgeous sunsets. The home advertises 4 bedrooms and that is not the case. The 4th bedroom is on the 4th floor put there are no walls for privacy. There are two uncomfortable bunks and a pull-out queen sofa but the entire area is open to the stairs. This is a 3 bedroom home with a second seating area. Don't expect to have good cell coverage as it is almost non-existent but that is good if you are on vacation.
