Needs Work
We have vacationed on Cape San Blas for the past 20 years. We have not had issues like this year for any of our prior visits. We were very happy with the location of this home. It's a very nice vacation home but it need's a lot of work and updates. We arrived to two screens on the back porch half torn out and flapping in the wind, no wifi, a living room TV that would not turn on, the outlets on the bar not working and one of the sliding glass doors not locking. The owner and manager took our calls and arranged for service. On Monday, two contractors came and verified the issues but did not fix them. On Tuesday, an electrician arrived and fixed a short on the porch that fixed the wifi, tv and outlets. He informed us that he was asked to swap outlet switches for the hot tub and he'd come in the afternoon to do that. We asked him to do it a different week, but he was told to complete that so he came back. After he came back, we found that the hot tub no longer worked. We called the property manager about the hot tub. On Thursday, repair people came out to fix the hot tub. During our stay, we had eight service visits over four days. Numerous other service issues exist that we advised the property owner about including a broken pool gate, broken pool chairs and a non working tv in the bunk room. We did not want service people out for these items. The owner and property manager are kind people but there were just too many issues with this home.
